Devin Bush was a radio show this morning, and had some fiery words:
Michigan junior linebacker Devin Bush Jr. didn’t hesitate during a radio appearance Friday morning when asked which rival he dislikes more, Michigan State or Ohio State...
...“I hate Michigan State,” Bush said. “I don’t like Michigan State. I don’t like Ohio State either, but I just don’t like Michigan State. I don’t want even want to touch that green.”
Personally, I love it. I can't stand either rival, and living in Ohio OSU is higher on the list for me, but MSU is so obnoxious. I hope UM goes into East Lansing in October and humiliates Sparty.

OSU was just as loaded, if not more so, in the ‘90’s. Orlando Pace, Eddie George, you name the Pro-Football HOFer. The difference is we didn’t use it as an excuse and beat them, consistently. We can and will win this year. Have faith in our coaches, players, schemes, etc. If we can keep Shea healthy, I like us to win!

I'm curious as to what this means. Does this mean he's going to be an even dirtier player than he usually is for the MSU game; or does it just mean when he ends up 1-3 against MSU he's going to be really upset?
I get he probably had his little tiny feelings hurt going 1-6 against rivals but really, he SHOULD hate MSU. Why is he waiting until now to say something about MSU? The days of Woody and Bo are long gone; there is no THE GAME. There hasn't been for some time.

Fuck MSU because every time you meet an MSU grad, they immediately make it awkward by clarifying that they got into U of M too, but just chose to go to State.
Fuck MSU because their original fight song lyrics literally says “shoot right through that line of blue” and “Michigan is weakening”... obsessed nutjobs.
Fuck MSU because over the past ten years they’ve lived by their success on the football field, to “make up” for their overall, on average, academic inferiority. And they call it out to Michigan graduates, and you have to bite your tongue because responding with “you went to the worst school in the Big Ten so get off your high horse” would be considered rude.
Fuck MSU because they are so focused on Harbaugh’s record over the last 25 games, but seem to forget to consider Dantonio’s record over the same timeframe.
Fuck MSU because of their goon play under Dantonio. From Narduzzi’s 60 minutes of “unnecessary roughness” to trying to decapitate Denard under the pile to 2016 when they mugged Jabrill Peppers off camera, behind the play.
Fuck MSU because they bitch and moan about Gibbons and Grant Perry. Gibbons gives the University a bad look and is regrettable but the absolute laundry list of bullshit that has gone on at MSU is downright absurd. Players going straight from jail to the football field on the same weekend, players attacking a dorm in gang-mentality, Larry Nassar, LJ Scott, Glenn Winston, Chris Rucker, the list is so long I can’t remember them all.
Fuck MSU because they are so worried about getting enough attention, and are such crybabies over the media coverage Michigan receives. Michigan is near or at the top in career wins, winning percentage, revenue, alumni base, and literally helping invent the game of football that is played today. The media is catering to their constituents. They don’t cater to MSU because they can’t fill Spartan Stadium on the last home Saturday in the fall when they can win a Big Ten Championship.
Fuck MSU because they bitch and moan about Michigan voting against them joining the conference, as if they wouldn’t have done the same. MSU became MSU in 1955; just before that vote. They WERE young and it wasn’t that far fetched to vote against.

Fuck UM for counting wins over High Schools as actual wins. Ann Arbor High and Michigan Military Academy? Really? That bully mentality still lives on today by blowing out G5 teams but struggling against anyone with a pulse.
Fuck UM for thinking they are still relevant in the Big Ten even though they haven't been to the CCG and six other teams have. Fucking six.
Fuck UM for making an excuse every time they lose. Whether it's the timekeeper, the weather or because Harbaugh decided to put gunners in on a play where everyone besides Harbaugh knew MSU would be sending 11 after the punter - there's always some lame ass excuse.

2. Show me the press release where the University of Michigan actually declares themselves relevant. No, the media does. They do so because of Michigan’s history and resources. Something MSU will never have so give up on trying.

8. This is just false. 3 of the first 9 games in the series were in East Lansing, and many more before MSU joined the Big Ten. At the time MSU joined the Big Ten, Michigan stadium sat 97,000 people and Spartan Stadium only 51,000. Those early games would have been more balanced if MSU could have afforded, and had the demand for, a larger stadium. An issue that still plagues them today. Furthermore; MSU has played Western 15 times, and only gone to Kalamazoo once. By your logic, that makes MSU bullies and pussies, right?
9. Guilty as charged. “Michigan Agricultural College” means agriculture. MSU’s expansion was a threat to our State funding. Of course we opposed it.
10. Typical sparty. “Larry Nassar is Michigan’s fault.”
You are 100% correct. Michigan as an institution does not have the hate for MSU that MSU has for Michigan. Dantonio, and then Mike Hart, probably best described what the true origin of that hate is.

Sorry, Sparty, history didn’t start when your team finally surpassed its lengthy history of mediocrity to become a pretty good team. Not a great team. It chafes you so badly that during your best year in the last 50, you could only back your way into the playoffs as a result of an unforced Michigan error. Once again, without Michigan, MSU is nothing. Also, please don’t talk about relevance. Even your best teams aren’t relevant because nobody cares about MSU, even when they are good. The only headlines people remember about MSU are the TERRIBLE things that have gone on at your university.
Also, when you did back into the playoffs, all you did was confirm that you didn’t belong and never will. You don’t know how to handle success (hello 3-9, during Dantonio’s 8th year as coach) because your entire identity is premised on an inferiority complex and the rage that results from it. That wins some games, but it doesn’t work forever, because it is hollow and fades when real success is visible on the horizon. Also, the big boys will eventually stop shooting themselves in the foot. It is fitting that the greatest play in your lifetime involved a mistake by another team’s punter, rather than a spectacular play by MSU players.
MSU is a mediocre school with a “new money” football team that had a nice little run, coached by a mirthless, amoral prick. You must be so proud. Your basketball team is vastly overrated and is run by another angry little man. Of course you are angry, even in the midst of your success. Because, in your heart of hearts, even though you would spontaneously combust if you admitted it, you still wish you were us. And it eats you up.

Stop letting guys like Valenti dictate the narrative. We have been literal inches away from some significant victories despite some substantial deficiencies in the roster. Those deficiencies are slowly being addressed. Of course we wish it would happen faster, but the “this year or never” narrative is talk radio hot take nonsense, and is just lazy. The improvement is noticeable and will continue, especially as some of the younger talent (see, e.g., offensive tackles) matures.
