Why doesn't Michigan have an experienced RB coach?

Submitted by UMProud on

Why does Coach Harbaugh have his son ,a nice guy, coaching the RB position?  Jay is getting paid a 1/4 million dollars and, to me, his inexperience is a disservice to our RBs.

Why aren't we investing in a top notch RB coach?  Is there some sort of NCAA mandated staff limitation that we're maxed out?

This really bugs the hell out of me because it looks like nepotism but I'm probably missing something.

It was easy to blame the Oline Saturday because the pass blocking was shit, but I did notice more than a few times when Higdon missed some big ass holes and got knocked down by an arm tackle. I blame this one on Jay Harbaugh not being a competent RB coach. I also don’t understand why they don’t go after Mike Hart to coach our backs. Dude loves Michigan and would probably jump the gun to come coach here.

This again....you do realize last year we were 6 yards away from having a 1,000 yard rusher in Karan Higdon? Someone who started off the year 3rd on the depth chart? 6 yards away with the line we had last year. And not to mention Chris Evans who gives us production each play. The RB coach isn’t an issue.

Beacause Jimmy has more power than the Mayor in AA. His son Jack will be coaching special teams in the 5th grade.

not to worry, Jay will be selling used cars in 2020 anyway when his dad is excused.

I think our RB are fine and are two of the better ones in the country. I mean what can you do in situations like this? Runyan and Ruiz get beat inside and JBB can't touch his guy.. ND has both edges contained. Also they have the quick WR screen defended. It took ND 5 plays to figure out our zone read attack
