RIP: Quickie Burger
Drove by there today, and it appears they are in the process of closing and changing it to something else(along with changing the awning where a woman with large breasts is riding a gigantic hamburger in a cowboy outfit). Never my favorite late night place by any stretch, but anyone who went to school in the last 10ish years has undoubtedly stumbled in there wasted.
Hopefully it changes to something with a bit better food?
BS. Their burgers were great and their fries were too.
Growing up on the eastside of Detroit 24 hour coney islands were my go to growing up, so for me Fleetwood Diner was the go to late night food spot
Fleetwood is still the only option from like 4AM-6AM, which happens to be the only time slot nowadays when I'm eating late night food. Usually pretty satisfied.
Not that good but it was in a great location. Something else will probably do better in that location.
Would always go to Quickie to get cheap shots before going out. RIP
