Duncan Robinson on podcast with the Ringer
Discussing his new contract, etc. I haven't listened to all of it but it's pretty fun so far.
Robinson’s quotes about Wagner are awesome - at about the 55 min mark
Mark Titus can eat my toenails
Some dish from the end of the pod: Charles Matthews was going to go pro but hurt his wrist and had to miss some workouts. We're lucky to have him back!
That was a very entertaining interview with the kind of insight you don't always hear. The info on Matthew's wrist was crazy; sounds like we dodged a bullet.
You know, I heard that part and thought to myself, "You never want to call an injury timely at the risk of sounding brutally insensitive, BUT...."
I may have let my rooting interest show over my human interest with "lucky" there. At least it's just a hand!
I was bracing for him to go because modern league economics (rising revenues and quicker UFA for 2nd round/undrafted guys) make betting on yourself a better option than it used to be. He had two great options so at least the fall back is one of those.
