that Bettman has anything to do with calls/non-calls, excepting his influence in any rule changes. Referees, even the elite ones, miss calls; it's not an excuse and those missed calls need to be minimized, but it's not any more realistic to expect an NHL referee to be perfect than it is to expect an NHL goalie to be perfect.
I submit the orgasm Bettman had handing the cup to Cindy Crosby. Wings got hosed in that series both in the calls and in the schedule. I know it is irrational hatred. I just need a target for that hatred.
