Prediction: ND/Michigan
Ok. Enough with the fluff.
There will be a lot of scoring. Either defense will not dominate. The big house will rock loud.
Tate will be on a roll. Breakout performance. Denard too. Minor in early knocking heads and stiff arming. No Hemingway but others in there. Zoltan. Watch out for # 2 breakout Vincent.
Warren is on top of his game.
Michigan 31
ND 24
You can take that to the bank.

I actually have a good feeling about this game, but in the past my good feelings usually aren't a good sign.
27 Michigan
23 ND

Not that I disagree with you that Notre Dame could win, but what about your meh defense makes you think that ND will win by two touchdowns and hold Michigan to just 20 points? A terrible rushing team rushed unterribly against you last week, Michigan should have no probalem running the football. I think you are vastly overrating the Notre Dame secondary and underrating the kind of game that Michigan's offensive line is likely to have.

but the odds are decent that we lose the turnover battle. that could certainly lead to such a margin.

Well I guess I will start from the beginning of your post,
#1. I don't believe it is a "meh defense"
#2. Against a terrible rushing team?, who was actually the third best in the country last year, returned each of its 3, 1,000 yard rushers
#3. See #2 and add in the shutout,
#4. See #3 and add in that they averaged over 37 points per game last year, (top 10 in all D1)
#5 See #3 again
So I ask you why do you think that UM will score more than 20 points against a Defense who won't be begging for oxygen at the end of the first drive their on the field for, will bring continuous pressure up front against 2 true freshman QBs, 2 QBs who didn't go through all their reads on passing plays, and 2 QBs that have at best a 50% chance to throw to the teams #1 receiver (not to mention that it will be against our deepest position on the field)?

I was going to write a lengthy response, but it's probably not worth it so close to game time. Just know that I disagree, and good luck. We'll see who's crazy in a few hours
