Looks like an okay field. We could win it.
But, man, it's so early for basketball. We just started football!

I heard the Tigers are favored to win the division next year.

After the epic September of 2012 when the team found themselves 6 back after being swept by the White Sox mid-month but came back to win the division and make it to the World Series why wouldn't they be?

Is it weird that I'm a bit more excited for this year's basketball season than I am for the rest of the football season? I think we have a legit shot at a final four berth this year.
I don't recall ever feeling that way about Michigan sports, it'd always been football first for me, then hockey, then basketball.
That said, it's still a bit too early to be focusing on bball, I'm going to wait until after the Nebraska game to shift to that.

waiting for my bball season tix! does anyone know when they're supposed to drop?

So i potentially have 2 opportunities to catch Michigan bball in NYC.

Plus hockey at the Garden if you are into that

Indeed, i somehow managed to not get tix yet to the frozen apple. But, I plan to be there too.

to me how much is thought of Michigan basketball right now. I think they will be good, and I know they brought in a real strong class. But I have seen a publication with them ranked 3rd!? I don't know man. A first round exit a year ago losing a lot of experience across the board (including Smot which hurts more than noted). Like I said, good, but it may be a little early for the kind of talk they are getting.

I grew up in an era where both Football and BBall were perennial top ten programs, nice to be back in that spectrum. I like our chances in the NIT and feel we'll win at least 3 of the 4 games but prefer all 4 wins of course, Go Blue!

Looks pretty winnable. Will be at MSG given they reach the semifinals.

C'mon ... football still has Iowa, Ohio and then B1G Championship games. Love Maize and Blue roundball, but this is WAY too early !
Go Blue

We really should win, barring major injuries before then.
September 11th, 2012 at 4:56 PM ^
We faced much tougher competition last year in Maui than for this NIT. I'll be disappointed if we don't win.

Pitt and KSU will still be tough but i think we have the talent and the experience to run the table. Honestly, it doenst matter much its the big ten that counts. Would b nice though to add another trophy to Crisler

I'd like to play Virginia again, get revenge for the loss last year.
