Also, we're going after Bates-Diop at number 39. Super long and bouncy wing.
#47 Treyvon Bluett and maybe #11 Kevin Looney
I live in Grand Rapids, MI where Harris' high school is. I haven't been to any of his games yet, but have heard alot from a friend who is a referee and has done some of his games. He said is very athletic and a great scorer. Harris plays football too (I believe his primary position is WR), where he also excels. He has hinted at having interest in being a dual athlete, but I'm not sure how well he rates for football.
The rumor is that his dad is a bit overbearing and favors MSU, but there is a lot of time left.
I've seen Harris play, and he is a heck of an athlete. He was only a sophomore, but I wasn't impressed with how involved he was. For the best player on the court, he seemed to disappear too often and wasn't consistenly involved.
Then again, he was only a sophomore.
Have you seen him play football? I was impressed by his football highlights, basketball not so much. Funky shot, lots of jumpers, I think he's just a case of being bigger and faster than everyone at a young age. Devin Booker on the other hand, come on down. He's the son of a former pro baller so clearly, he will.
He went to my high school before he moved down to Mississippi to train with his father (ex-pro Melvin Booker). By all reports he has torn up the competition down there. Great shooter so would fit well with Beileins system. He also really likes Michigan.
I believe we have also shown interest in #8 Cliff Alexander. At least keeping tabs.
