Baseball's Mock Rock skit: "Got 99 problems but rich rod aint one"
For those of you who don't know what Mock Rock is, it's where members of all the sports at Michigan perform skits. I just ran across this one from the baseball team and it's hilarious.

The only skit that bothered me was men's soccer where they made fun of Chris Webber's timeout in the 1993 NCAA Championship Game. That was something that scarred a man for life and broke the heart of an entire fanbase.

OK...here's how I defend it...Rich Rod had one major fault that cost him his job by his own doing...he hired poorly...as to the DC issue...he had two in three years...and tried to run a defense that didn't fit in big ten play...if you choose to put that all on him, fine. Personally having coached football for 12 plus seasons I understand the value of surrounding yourself with great staff that is not only talented, but cohesive in their mission to succeed...I'm not taking anything away from Hoke, he's the man up front, however please do tell me we win 11 games in 2011 without Mattison and Borgess...please tell me Greg Robinson has the same success with Hoke at Mattison did...at that point...I'll start to think you might be right. Otherwise RR had some flaws but he was never given a chance from the start...and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me that Sheridan and Threat were top shelf talent...please tell me how they beat Florida in the Orange bowl...oh no...you can't...it was a deal Carr made with the devil to secure his qb...by promising he wouldn't recruit any until Mallethead came along...and he deserted...yeah...it's all on RR....keep those maize colored glasses clear and clean...I'm not buying it. Am I happy Hoke is here? You betcha...he has unquestionably done a better job with the talent available...by surrounding himself with great men who have the same goal and the same mission...save Barwis, RR hired a group of incompetents. THAT was his undoing.

Did this really turn into a blame Rich Rod vs. not blame Rich Rod discussion? It's MOCK ROCK! Lighten up. They ripped lacrosse in the skit. I played lacrosse. I thought it was funny.
