Updated Weather
Hello, I just finished looking at the weather and several prog charts and forcast models. I somewhat consider myself a guy of knowledge when it comes to weather being a expierenced pilot and flight instructor. As well as having taken several metorology classes in college.
That being said
Rain not likely. looks like the morning should be beautiful. Temps starting low in the 60's
12:00PM (noon) rain and clouds increasing temperature between 67-73
as the afternoon goes on the likelihood of rain increases.
Around game time chance of rain decreses but still small chance tempture near 70.
If it does rain it shouldnt be very heavy.
If needed i will update as this very weak cold front is stalling

"Rain looks like the morning should be beautiful."
Not sure what mean.

Does that mean its going to rain or not rain in the morning? Maybe, he was talking to a guy named "rain". All in all good info - thanks.

Having gone to last week's monsoon, I think all of us would appreciate an environment where we can enjoy four quarters of football (which is apparently what Michigan typically needs to beat the Irish). Even a light rain would be acceptable.
Love Coach Hoke, but I could go all year without seeing his soaking shirt clinging to his Flintstone-esque thorax again...

We're going to go up by three scores and then Hoke will once again bring the thunder. Only Notre Dame won't want to quit. So we'll finish the game on versus. And they'll lose. And then ESPN will go on to talk about how the Irish will beat whoever they play next week.

Notre Dame doesn't quite until they win.

This is the exact opposite of what a meteorologist posted on the Scout's pay boards FWIW. He says no rain past noon, maybe some in the morning.

As I'm going to be one of two people at the Eastern game tomorrow (on the sidelines again...), I hope that it doesn't rain at all tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'll be watching THE game on TV as I would rather be at that game. Oh well.

Wait a minute, are you a sideline coach? Did you used to play for the colts? By any chance did you attend the university of Michigan on athletic scholarship?
September 9th, 2011 at 10:46 AM ^
No to none of those. Just taking pictures...
September 9th, 2011 at 11:01 AM ^
Does "no to none" mean "yes to all"? winkyface.
September 9th, 2011 at 11:16 AM ^
No, it means that I am not any of the things in the question above. My first name is not Mike and my last name is not Hart. I'm just little old me.
September 9th, 2011 at 1:05 PM ^
Mike Hart's first name is Leon.

I said a small chance i didnt say 100% rain read carefully. Most metorologists on news tv's are influenced by ratings so if he says no rain you are most likely going to watch that channel more because you like what he is saying.
September 9th, 2011 at 2:23 PM ^
You said "noon rain and clouds." Nothing to argue over just was pointing out that there was a different report out there from someone that was spot on with last week's weather.

Thank you kind sir. Looks like I'm wearing jeans.

The only thing raining going on is going to be MICHIGAN FOOTBALL on notre dame's parade!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 9th, 2011 at 10:30 AM ^
Oh no. Ohio.
September 9th, 2011 at 10:43 AM ^
I have also taken some metorology classes and I have determined there is about a 100% chance of a shitstorm brewing for the Irish when they return to South Bend.

great place kinda of outdated stuff though. I use that along with several others and have acesses to station models through different programs.

wunderground.com started at Michigan.
September 9th, 2011 at 10:51 AM ^
Hmmm....weather.com says a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Funny.. I think that's what it said last Saturday, too.
September 9th, 2011 at 11:12 AM ^
Instead of that...how about this?
Saturday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. Light east wind.
