TomVH: Quick Wayne Morgan Update
I spoke with one of New York DB Wayne Morgan's coaches today, and he told me that the Michigan visit really blew Wayne away. It put Michigan in his top three with Rutgers at the top and Michigan in second.
His coach said that Rutgers is still in first because of his comfort level and the fact that he's been there so much. He also said that it will take a lot to impress him more than Michigan did. Wayne also saw a great opportunity to get on the field early at Michigan which will help.
Morgan currently has offers from Alabama, Rutgers, Michigan, Miami, and Penn State to name a few.
Thank you. Seems like a case where coaches see more talent than the recruiting services do at this point. Plus it is really early in these rankings and things change but I will take a good offer list over an extra star any day.
To all the NJ haters out there....there are awful areas and nice areas in every state. The per capita income in NJ is over $50 K. Michigan is $34 K. Umemployment is significantly higher in Michigan than in NJ.
If you think all of NJ is the same as Newark or New Brunswick then you would also say all of Michigan is like Detroit.
How many high school stadiums hold 54,000 ?
Right. Because we all know that richer people are so much more pleasant to deal with...
