That's true.  Could we see UM and UF fire ADs to become more attractive options for football coaches?

From what I've read, Mullen would only leave MSU for UF

Luckily, almost all the other coaches seem fairly realistic (sans RichRod).  The money and recruiting possibilities always give us a shot at a good hire, which is nice.

What about Gary Patterson?

Speed is a concern if Norfleet is one of our fastest players

Speed is a concern if Norfleet is one of our fastest players.  I always thought he was one of the faster players in the B1G.  It was shocking to see a SS burn him in a foot race.  Not a CB, not a FS, but a SS.

You have to pick one:

Given the fact that MSU is so far ahead of UM on the field, and given the fact that UM has outrecruited MSU for the past 10 years, you have to pick one of two options:

(1) MSU develops talent a lot better than UM

(2) Recruiting rankings are a complete sham

Maybe it's a combination of the two but, looking at the state of the two programs, it's tough to say that UM outrecruits MSU and develops talent at the same level.

The most frustrating position group is OL

The most frustrating position group is OL.  We landed a ton of highly ranked OL recruits over the past few years.  We keep hearing the youth excuse, but MSU took an unranked recruit and started him at LT as a RS frosh.  He still hasn't given up a sack.  Several teams around the country are playing young OL.

Didn't Jamal Crawford's issues happen in high school?

Didn't Jamal Crawford's issues happen in high school?  Without knowing for sure, I would assume impermissible benefits in high school could cause one to forfeit amateur status.

It's going to be tough to prove anything impermissible happened here.  Yes, Peppers was renting from Bosco's coach's brother.  However, the brother has already denied anything shady and simply wants restitution for money he is owed.  If anything, I bet the NCAA would force Peppers to repay a portion of the "benefit" and he'd be cleared to play.  I don't see it ever getting that far, though.

Apparently we aren't allowed to discuss this topic
