Why does everyone assume Nico and DPJ are going pro? They have potential, but the WR class is loaded and they aren't showing up as top prospects in NFL draft rankings. I would think at least one comes back and along with Ronnie Bell that's still a pretty crowded depth chart for Tarik
But seriously, maybe the Patriots are actually the best of all time at not fumbling, like the players you mentioned were the best of all time at what they do.
With all those players you can point to unique skills etc that make them the best. What makes the Patriots the best? It could be any number of things, but it seems silly to completely dismiss deflating the balls as a possible explanation.
But its not that the Patriots were the best, I could buy that. Its that they appear to be so far off the charts better than any other team.
They are clearly doing something differently, maybe theres another explanation for it, but in the midst of this controversy it's definitely something worth looking into / talking about.
I dont doubt that teams can be better than others at preventing fumbles. It does seem unlikely that one team could be that much better for that long without doing something differently though.
It seems that the rivalry has always been a big deal for in state students. They have friends family etc from state so that makes the rivalry more intense
For in state students most people don't know anyone from state so it isn't as big of a deal. It generally was just another game we usually win, until recently.
Because Michigan has a large out of state percentage and many people get jobs out of state, the rivalry really didn't mean too much as long as we were in winning most of the time.
I'm in favor of showing we don't approve of Brandon but this is not the way.
A rally, signs etc show that we still care about and support the program but want a new ad.
A boycott doesn't show any support for anything and makes it look like we just don't care.
If this actually happens the headline won't read "students boycott kickoff to protest Brandon" it will read "Michigan students no longer cafe about football team after recent struggles"

No worries. Enjoy the game
Going to the game with a few friends and actually looking for a parking pass. Will you be around the night before?

Agreed, this doesnt seem like a coincedence. Brady/Pats fans will want to ignore this too though
