Good to see us get back on track and handle UMass the way we were supposed to. I must say I'm proud of my boy from back home Tajae Sharpe who caught two passes for UMass today and is starting for them as a true freshman and someone to watch moving forward. But back to Michigan, good to see Denard throw the ball well and Fitz being productive in the run game. Always nice to see the young guys get on the field and get a chance to make plays in the game. True test - and I believe the barometer for the season and Big Ten play - will come next week when we play Notre Dame in South Bend. I was really impressed with their defense Saturday night against MSU and have been so far this season. Gholson also has a nice showing as well. I believe next week will show us where we really are as a team, and I'm excited to see the matchup unfold. But all in all today's was a solid game, pretty much what everyone expected now its time to look forward to the next game.
