Wild Wolverine I was on a backpacking trip in the Chugach mountains East of Anchorage last week with some fellow UM alums and we spotted a Wolverine crossing a snowfield just above us for about a minute. The thing was about the size of a golden retriever. It was pretty awesome. Powerful looking animal. Definitely made our trip...
OT: Garnett I cant start a topic, but since this is about lineman, I figured that I'd put it here... I'm interviewing for a medical residency position at Stanford today and just walked past Josh Garnett on his tour of the medical school and hospital. I have him a quiet "Go blue" and got a big grin from him and his father... I know.... "Cool Story Bro"...
Washigton definitely not out... Washington is definitely not out... In the interview he talks about having been to 10-15 Washigton practices and essentially every home game. He also said that he will be at all of their bowl practices. Somebody doesnt do that unless they are really interested in a place. The drive from Puyallup to Husky Stadium is like 90 minutes. The reason he isn't taking an official there is because he already knows everything there is to know about the school. Also, you have to remember that his father was a player at UW and wants him to stay local. This is a three pony race between Michigan, Stanford, and UW. Don't forget about Sean Parker. Steve Sarkisian can flat-out recruit and I really think that Washington is a dark-horse favorite here and would be shocked of he didnt go there. Also, UW has an awesome medical school, better than ours, and I'm a Medical Student here...(not that that should really matter for an undergrad). Dont count the Huskies out yet... Go Blue!
