He's BLUE!!!

Just saw announcement is

Just saw announcement is delayed until 2:45

That's pretty pathetic that

That's pretty pathetic that people would stoop this low to get a rise out of someone.  These are high school kids making a huge decision and stupid fans can't respect that.  Gotta love some people in this world...

Complete rumor, but word is

Complete rumor, but word is Kalis is now a silent commit according to ScoutExile over at 247 Blue Board.  Apparently he's saying that the staff and a few of the OSU/Mich commits have been told, so it's just a matter of time....

We all know he's a decent QB,

We all know he's a decent QB, and definately upgrades a position Wis needed, but my question, if anyone knows, is the difference between schemes/playbook from NC State to Wis.

He only has 2 months before his first game, so he's missed out on alot, not to mention forming team chemistry.  Just curious if anyone thinks the transition from one college to another within a short amount of time is something for us to even worry about?  Granted we don't even play them this year, but still...

Hopefully in a time like this

Hopefully in a time like this no one is thinking about basketball, but rather the current and future status of this young man.  Praying he makes a full recovery and no matter what his future decisions, I hope Michigan is there with help and full support.

Scheme wise it seems like

Scheme wise it seems like Auburn, or continuing his MLB dream, would be the best route for him to go.  Not sure how tough Wis playbook would be to learn in such a short time, but I think I remember alot of talk about Newton having a very simple playbook at Auburn.

That's the best part about

That's the best part about Morris IMO.  We all know he's a gifted QB that still has a couple years left to improve his already talented skills.  He's already acknowledged his commitment and dedication to Michigan, so now he becomes one of our greatest assest off the field for 2 more years.  Get in their ears and line 'em up Morris...

Hopefully the US can bring

Hopefully the US can bring their A game since they haven't looked that good as of late.  Of course it's a pretty heated rivalry, so anything can happen.

Thoughts and prayers go out

Thoughts and prayers go out to him and the rest of his family.  Hoping the young man can make it through this tough time now and in the future.  I haven't looked too deep into the story, but I'm hoping our Mich family has made there way out there for support in a time when any shoulder is a well needed shoulder to lean on.  I too lost my parents at a young age and know what he'll be going through.  I'll be rooting for him, not only for the Michigan connection, but as anyone who has a soul, you're heart goes out to people faced with this type of adversity.  Praying...

Sorry about that...

My fault, completely forgot to provide it.  Here you go:

Future prospects...

I can't start a thread of my own, but just wanted to pass along some info that I saw from the Blue Board at 247 from ScoutExile:

Hmm... just got an e-mail from someone who's well-connected, and I trust.

To summarize:

Good news re: Pipkins may be forthcoming.

Kalis to Michigan might happen soon.

No shocker, but Jarrod Wilson is likely silent. He's heard contradictory claims on whether Wormley is silent or not, too.

Bri'onte Dunn? Not so great news. Right now, it looks like it's going to take substantial sanctions, including a multi-year bowl ban, for him to switch his commitment.

Guess we'll find out eventually either way, but thought I'd pass along some more rumor mill info for us to chew on.

Alot of rumors swirling

Alot of rumors swirling around Vanderbilt for Bars.  There is suppose to be a group of 6 that might make their announcement around the same time for them.

Was about to post in the

Was about to post in the prediction thread.  Guess this was almost assumed since he took a 2nd visit recently, plus his brother is out there.  Good luck to the young man, except for one game a year...Go Blue!!!

Awesome...thanks for the

Awesome...thanks for the responce.

Just a rumor I saw while

Just a rumor I saw while looking through the forums at ESPN, so please don't shoot the messenger, but I noticed someone said they may have heard we have another silent commit, outside of what eveyone believes to be Morgan.  They mentioned Scout as the resource of choice, in regards to the validity of the rumor.  If Tom or anyone else can shed some light on this, it would be much appreciated.

Great to see we get another

Great to see we get another shot at UK after JT not pitching her best and our bats waiting until the 6th/7th to get anything going.  Hopefully this late inning rally will carry over to tomorrow so we can play UM ball from the beginning instead of dragging out the late game nail biters like we have.  Game 1 pressure is probably on us, even at home, but a simple win turns the tides and puts it right back on them.  Great win today and I look forward to the 1 PM game tomorrow...GO BLUE!!!

Currently we've knocked out

Currently we've knocked out 85 hours, is this in direct correlation with our current recruiting success or is this just pure coincidence?  Less time on the practice field could mean more time on the road to recruit?  Assuming this is the case and we have until 2011-2012 year to get this done, can we practice normal throughout the season, to prevent a competitive disadvantage, and then do something similiar at the end of this year/beginning of next year?  I have no idea how the penalties are supposed to be served or even how they work, so basically thinking, or writing outloud.

First off, Congrats to you

First off, Congrats to you and your family.  Great advice all throughout so I'll try not to repeat anything, but just remember to enjoy the moment.  You can't rewind time, and no matter if you want them to or not, they grow up fast.  Some days/nights are better than others starting out, but it gets better.  Everyone has to start out somewhere, and many people simply learn as they go. No matter what, there really isn't a right or wrong way on how to be a good parent, it's whatever you feel is right for your family and child.  I'm sure you'll do fine, and once again, Congrats!!

Lattimore being that high is

Lattimore being that high is kind of odd to me as well, and I attend USC.  The only thing I can assume is the odds makers believe he'll have a decent year, seeing as Garcia is out and they only really have Jeffery at WR, unless Gurley can step up.

More than that...

Besides playing in the WAC, Boise St. is losing Titus Young, Austin Pettis, and Doug Martin, which is pretty much their entire Offense.  I think this has more to do with things than getting respect.
