gets around it is that vendors cannot sell the NAME of the athlete. Hence why jerseys only have #'s on them and also why there was the big deal with selling the Denard "shoelace" t-shirts.
forgive me I can't remember the specifics of the t-shirt ordeal, but I remember Underground Printing had to stop selling them.
I typically wait until the TV ref douche is off of the field. No use using up my voice during a commercial... And I would like to say that I woke up Sunday morning with absolutely no voice whatsoever. And I sit in "real people seats" surrounded by a bunch of old alumni who were screaming just as much as I was. Just to put to rest that ALL old people sit on their hands during a football game...
I'm not sure if Scotty B enjoys people playing as loud as they can.. Nix demanded that you play loud but with good tone, which I support. But Scotty B enjoys musicality a little too much for my taste. Especially when you're trying to play for 113,000 people.
I enjoyed playing difficult music, but I want to be HEARD.
But, could be different for those precious Bass Trombones.
To be honest I anticipated running into Michigan fans at the Olympics since we have such a large alumni and fan base. But I never expected to be waiting in a gigantic line to get onto the subway, and running into someone I played broomball with in College at UofM....
THAT was bizarre. Out of thousands and thousands of people, dozens of event locations, to be standing in the same line next to one another. Bizarre.
Are you kidding me?! I apologize for being a little perturbed you would think this way, maybe it's still too close to the worst call in the Cup.
Sure, excessive pushing and shoving within the last 2 minutes of play is going to happen. Literally BEAR HUGGING someone is completely uncalled for and should always be called as a foul no matter the time, even stoppage time. Dumb. Just dumb. Yes, this is a physical sport. But there is a rule called "obstruction" for a reason. (For those of you playing the home game; Obstruction-Impeding the Progress of an Opponent) Bear hugging to me is blatant obstruction, and yet, our Yanks STILL managed to get a goal. So "The shit that was done on that play happens on every free kick in every soccer game. You've clearly never played a game in your life. " is ridiculous to say. BEar hugging is NOT done on every soccer play. You clearly don't wach enough football. But maybe you do since refs should "err on the side of the defense". Don't worry, the ref did. He sided with the defense SO much he disallowed a goal.
..as long as Dempsey can stay healthy. Clints knee or ankle start giving him problems again we could be in for a real shenanagins of a round with Altidore as our best option up top....

Ah, right you are, I remember now.
I do wish there was a study, or chart for how much the #4 jersey specifically increased revenue.
Just curious where you're getting your numbers, I feel it would be an interesting read.
Mine is "WINNING! w/Charlie Sheen"
..... the "stripes" on the helmet are the first thing I see too... must be an addidas ploy from eons ago! Curses Addidas!

don't judge me for actually liking the yellow piping....
and, is it just me or do the tWSE unis kind of look like Bama's?
I was just thinking the same thing. Black has the potential to become a great DE in the next couple years, IME.
omgiknowright?!
Had me practically ripping my hair out during the game.
I can't believe they don't do that already....

Make me anxious. I've been knocking on wood like a mother effer.

I hope that by the time we deploy Sousa there will be no punting, only touchdowns...

Just heartbreaking.
If your avatar panned a little more to the left we would see Emasculated Man again!!
Pity....
...his painted nails are just so precious....
Ways to emasculate ones self;
1. Wear pink shorts. Check
2. Jump up and down like a little girl. Check
3. Have it all caught on TV and then brought up 19 years later. Check & check.
Bummer.... thanks for the update.
I'll need proof of this nonsense. Can a man who is able to run back in time, run faster?
Agreed.

Is it sad/weird that I just daydreamed a little after reading this?
Anyone who looks like an Emu doesn't scream "Fulbright Scholar"
I think it's fair to say that not only do players read comments from the fan base, but their family does too.
