DG kills us.

In every game except Appalachian State, Devin Gardner has made huge mistakes, turnovers, that have caused us to lose or put us in a position to lose.  The fact is that Devin Gardner has turned out to be a bad quarterback.  It's not overly surprising considering his path but it's just the truth.  I don't expect Hoke offenses to put up tons of points, I expected great defense and a safe offense.  The defense is pretty much there, we haven't had a quarterback that can run an offense like that yet.

Not saying DG is the only reason we are 5-5 and I'd say even if Devin turned the ball over half as much we'd still be 7-3 at best, but most of our issues stem from Devins tendency to turn the ball over.

The game

Great game. Great atmosphere.  Im very glad that all these genius analysts ate their words - especially on mgoblog.  On Ohio State week Brian mails in the UFR, we have an adorable puppies liveblog and there are 2 interviews with 11 warriors writers???  I get that this is a tough season, I get that we were 2 td underdogs against OSU, i get that mgoblog writers want to be comedic geniuses...but the game is deserves better.  Next year i hope mgoblog doesn't "mail it in" again no matter the spread.  My favorite team was fun to watch today as a 2 td underdog against the "great and powerful" ohio.  I saw the fear in their eyes.  Fuck the haters.

O line doesn't help, agreed

O line doesn't help, agreed there.  I'd say even when he has time.....wait...we are....moving.....the ball? Please god.

Gardner makes me sick

Terrible decisions.  Locks into one receiver. Runs sidways. Throws to guys in the wrong jersey.  Lucky to get out of that half with no turnovers.

Dave Brandon has done a tremendous job

Our coaches and players perform and practice with integrity.  Hoke was the perfect hire - he believes and upholds Michigan tradition and has had more success than i could have hoped for in his first two years - with a brighter future.  Beilein does the same and has brought our Basketball program to its prime.

Having alternate jerseys, hashtags on the 25 yard line, night games etc. doesn't change anything about the tradition of Michigan football and the level of respect that comes with that.  It's important that Michigan blends both the traditional and modern sports landscape.  Brandon is doing that.
