After how clutch Tate has After how clutch Tate has been in pressure situations at the end of games this year I really don't know why we wouldn't have him in there. That's when he performs his best. If Denard was a proven passer and game manager then replacing Tate might have been warranted, but the way he's passed the ball this year (7/15 with 3 INT's) gives me no reason to think he should have been in.
His running style actually His running style actually reminds me of Manningham's route running style a few years ago. No ridiculous sideways moves, but a very solid and elusive one/two step move while going full speed.
Well I think most people will Well I think most people will agree that being a powerful runner is usually a good thing.
That is, hands down, the That is, hands down, the worst idea I have ever heard in my life. Wow.
I think most of you guys are I think most of you guys are forgetting how often players come in and switch positions in the first year or so. Receivers to db's, Safeties to LB's, TE's to DE's, LB's to DE's, it goes on and on. And with the way RR recruits, I'm sure most guys are able to make a solid transition to a new position (that they've probably played before anyways).
Stupid. He might be worth a Stupid. He might be worth a first round pick, but 1st overall? Give me a break. Daunte is going to be the QB this year anyways (well that's the plan at least) and next years draft has waaaaay more talent at QB. I would probably take Bradford in his rookie year over Stafford in his seconds year, but that's a long ways off. Hopefully I'm wrong. A lot can happen. I would just rather have had a much more stable pick.
Later last season I started Later last season I started seeing a different Minor. I used to get pissed every time he was in the game because I knew he was going to fumble (and he usually did). But RR must have done something because he stopped fumbling and started running people over. Really looking forward to watching him this year.
