Did Fisher claim SDSU as his dream job when he interviewed at Michigan? Oh wait, he never coached at Michigan according to these record books. I would not cite Fisher as "the way it should be" when refering to running a college sports team. This breaks my heart. |

The Penn State game was the beginning of my devorce. RR's career ended when Troy broke his ankle |

Coach and 4 is not a good cut. But that's not why you go there. You go there for the beer, the playboys, and the ticket deals. The skate sharpener has been gone for about six or seven years now. Glen was the only guy in town who knew what he was doing. Now I have to drive all the way to Livonia to get an edge. If you want a good haircut and a shave, go to the guy between Rick's and Backroom Pizza. |

The LSU uniforms are actually a bit of an improvement. I don't understand why it has been so difficulty for people to make shoulder stripes these days. The green shoulder boxes on ND's shirts were pretty much barf. |

I really hoped that my school was better than that. I really hoped that the admin at my alma mater couldn't be so short sighted as to fire a coach after only three years. I thought my school was better than that. Now our program is as tasteless as Domino's pizza. Brandon has a lot of experience selling a cheap, boring product. With Stewie half way out the door at WV, i really hope RR goes home and takes Denard with him. |

We were on the brink of having our second coach from West Virginia bring us a pont-a-minute offense. Now, we are heading down the road of Notre Dame. 18 year old recruits do not remember the last time michigan was good. My cousin is a Junior and a descent recruit. Despite growing up in a Michigan obsessed family he backs tOSU. Why? Because as long as he can remember Mi has been over rated and fallen short in big games, lost to Appalachian State, lost five games with an experienced Henne and Hart, and gone through the last three years. Recruits today were in diapers the last time Michigan (and the Big Ten for that matter) was respectable. Who wants to go to a school where the weather sucks, there are no hot girls, the accademics are tough, and there is no friggin' beach? If you are a top recruit, you either didn't grow up in the midwest, or you can't wait to get the hell out. In ten years our recruiting pitch is going to be as appealing as this "Hey kid, come to play for Army. We were awesome in the '40's!" That doesn't work.

I never understood why these kids don't go to Canada or the arena league. There are and have been multiple other minor leagues but they don't typically pay a living wage and most of them come and go without anyone noticing. Players can sometimes opt to maintain their amature status. A friend of mine did this before walking on at notre dame. |

If we recover 1/10 we still have a better odds than risking it on d. The short field will also not allow opponents to chew up time. |

The impact of the Lewan "hit after the play" was understated. Michigan had a chance to go up 14-0 with a quality drive. Instead they go on to 21 unanswered points. The worst part of that whole friggin call is that the hit was clearly before the whistle. It looked to me like the kid was simply making a downfield block. |

The gophers played their butts off. The end result was a typical Gopher-Wildcat game. The cats looked slow and weak but had little difficulty moving the ball. NW's Defense looked anemic, yet kept the ball out of the endzone. And, in the end, Weber could have been a hero, per weekend routine. I think NW will beat Iowa in boring fashion. Wisconsin should have enough end-of-season rage/frustration to blow them out of the water. |

I try to refrain from questioning the coaching genious Rod Almighty. But, why did we keep trying the drive-killing, down-field bombs to Taco Pants when we needed a first down in the second half? I understand that connections on these plays=touch down, but we need to put the odds in our advantage given the defense situation. |

There were many D's with more experience, better recruits, and more time in their respective systems who not only gave up a lot of points, but also lost . Texas, Florida, USC, Penn State, Wisconsin, Georgia, and etc. all lost. Michigan beat a well prepared, well coached, mature, and experienced Indiana team on their field, or quarry, or whatever the hell it is. |

Time of posession is the most bullshit stat. Evidence: 1-3 Minnesota was leading the nation in time of posession going into week 5 only to out posess Northwestern into another loss. Points win games. Forcing punts and turnovers helps you get more points. |
| 2 years 39 weeks ago | I think you can exit west to |
I think you can exit west to Ann Arbor from the south-bound lane. Northbound traffic can exit East only toward Ypsi. Traffic on Geddes road must enter the freeway. FYI Plymouth road is under massive construction and should be an example of how not to coordinate traffic during such a project. For your sanity, avoid Plymouth. |

How about honoring the players who made the conference what it is today? Clarett Division and Mandarich Division |

Bending over backwards to please the media has done nothing. Time to get mean. Tate as well. That guy needs to give up the California-surfer-ipod-prancing image and start acting more like the fire breathing grain-belt monsters who are trying to tear his head off. Maybe some tatoos, a beard, chew spit on his jersey, and some missing teeth would do him well. |

If we can't find a solution that makes sense for Blue's best interests Michigan should just leave the Big Ten behind. The suits seem to have forgotten that Michigan is the Big Ten. Our 4x10^9 alumni don't give a rip about what Purdue does to Illinois. They tune in from around the globe (and space, bitches, space) each autumn saturday to watch Michigan. We proved last year that even Delaware State can draw 90 K+ fans just by playing us. Notre Dame has done it right all along. Nobody, other than the NCAA, sometimes, tells them what to do. Go independent. Strike our own network deal, or create our own network. Find a rabid fan with some communication skills to announce all of our games, ala TV version of Bob Ufer. Worst case scenario: no Pam Ward. |

| 3 years 7 weeks ago | Transcript |
Probably the best commencement address I've ever heard and possibly the best speach I've ever heard was at the Big House in the spring of 2004 by David E. Davis Jr. I've been looking for a transcript or a video of that speach ever since. This has been met with little success. If anyone could help me revisit that fine moment in U of M history I would be forever in your debt. |
