Haskins - The more RBs, the better. Fire and ice combo of him and corum was the perfect formula to beating OSU.

Is Newsome going to be ready to play?

Only position that concerns me is OT. If Newsome can be even 80%of what he used to be I would be happy. Who are our starters if Newsome does not pan out?

Only thing that worried me about this game is

Mike Mccray. Ohio State is going to attack him on the edge and I dont see how we are going to stop it. I feel like adjusments need to be made before Ohio State in order to have more speed on the outside.

Zak is the issue

The problem with Zak is he doesnt play within the offense well. He clearly gets frustrated out there when he is on a scoring drought and tries to force things. Also, his favorite shot is that dribble pull up one foot inside the three point line, which drives me absolutely nuts. Even when it was goin in at the start of the yearit frustrated me. Walton has always played within the offense well and on top of that he does so many other little things that help the team. In order for this team to make a late run Zak needs to find what his role on this team is because he seems lost right now.

Hawkins

how come no one is talking about brad hawkins. Had the most impressive highlight film out of the WRs IMO.

Beilein=dantonio Beilein=dantonio. Had a cute little run, but will never be elite. It is what it is.
Depth Chart Adjustments

I think its very clear that Evans needs to be getting more carries than Smith. As a freshman, Evans' vision is already way better than smith and when you couple that with his speed I think it should be a no brainer. Smith really does not offer anything that great and its really bothering me how he still receives a ton of carries. Hopefully this loss helps the coaches realize that a change needs to be made.

Smith needs to be benched

I think this game made it very clear that smith should not be the main RB. I understand he is a much improved blocker, but his vision and decision making has become a liability. Evans is the best RB on this team and he should be getting at least 15+ carries a game. Did anyone else notice how smith just stopped and basically let the D-lineman safety him, instead of fighting to make it out of the endzone?

Recruiting

Is anyone else concerned that UM has dropped to #10 in recruiting and hasnt had a commit in a while? You would think all this success would cause at least some recruits to commit during the season.

jaylen

I have done a lot of research and I believe it comes down to Kentucky, Kansas, and Michigan. UNC is not getting any all-americans until their academic sanctions get figured out. Cal has a minor shot but I just don't think their program is established enough for brown to take the risk. Jaylen loves Kentucky and I think he would go there for sure if it was not for his family who apparently hates Kentucky. Kansas just lost kelly oubre so jaylen could fill in his spot right away, but Kansas was reported to be the only one who did not make an in home visit to brown so that should hurt them. Michigan is really the only team that has received all positive news with brown's recruiting process. They are adidas (I saw a video where he denied adidas had any influence), his family loves michigan and is from there, and crstal ball has completly shifted towards michigan in the past two days. He is by no means a lock to come to Michigan, but there is more than a chance.
