Maized & Confused

I registered here awhile ago. I started checking out the various opinions at my brothers insistence as to the quality of posts. I find myself entering into unfamiliar territory here now, not as a bystander but as a contributor.  I prefer the quite reserve of the bystander enjoying my Saturdays this time of year with my family, friends, and favorite team.  Spending my Sunday’s reading as much of the news on the Victors as possible with Roary and the Leo's on the TV in the background.

I too plan my Saturday's around the boys in Maize & Blue.  And yes, I will continue to plan my Saturday's and support the Team I love because that’s what my family does and has always done.....well always as far back as my 45 years can recall.

But, I can’t stop feeling like the Carr lost GPS reception since the last decent pilot (Lloyd) left the helm in 2007 and double R stepped in.  Has there been so much damage done to the "The Program" over the last 6 years that it has become just another game in the slew of games on Saturday?  Is the stigma of the Big House wearing thin?

The pilotless Carr, the ridiculous schedule, the mounting losses, the Monday mornings in the office facing the slappies in green that dont know how to handle the little success they have achieved!

Love this game, love this team....but am Maized & Confused as to what the future holds.
