This is why Harbaugh is so valuable. It's not just his own game-planning and approach to the game, but he has the ability to let go of Fisch while simulataneously finding someone he already has a relationship with that may be just as good or better.
Splitting hairs in terms of when you watch a team on the field over the course of a season, you can't tell if one is better than the other. The committee is saying that when they watch tape on OSU and compare that with the tape they have on PSU, they are not close.

I think you're detached from reality. Did you watch the CFP show? Hocutt said that OSU and PSU are not even close in the committee's eyes. They will be in the playoff.
Reminder: All the fancy dancy criteria you listed are taken into account when splitting hairs. This is not the case between PSU and OSU, and the committee has been vocal about that, even dating back to LAST weeks rankings.
1. Ohio State is getting in. Nobody has the resume, or can acquire the resume to rival them.
2. Nobody is going to watch Alabama put in their 2nd string against PSU in the 3rd quarter to rest for the championship game.
3. Washington cannot be higher than the 4 seed with their resume. i don't care who you are, you do not play Portland State and Rutgers for your OOC games, and call yourself a solid playoff team. They needed help, and got it from Iowa.
I've been trying to lobby our case on reddit, although I've been treading very lightly. I even started a thread questioning Wiscy's argument to be in the playoff EVEN if they beat PSU, because their resume just really doesn't hold up to ours if Colorado beats Washington. There was a Wiscy fan trying to take the angle of looking at ranks from the time they were played, and subsequently pegged MSU and NEB as quality wins.. That was very silly. I've seen numerous Buckeye fans say they think we are still the 3rd or 4th best team in the country. So, it's out there, I think.
i dont remember exactly who, but didn't we determine that there was a blatant missed hold on that play? Either way, I agree. Jabrill was right there and overran him.

Like I replied before, I get over tough losses by looking ahead, and our lack of returning experience bodes well for OSU next year, and my blood boils at the thought of Jim going 0-3 against OSU to start his UM coaching career.

I am going to root for this team until the day I die, but to ignore that we will be young next year and that we just lost to a very fucking young OSU team is naive as hell. Our seniors deserved this game and they had it ripped away from them. We are losing so much talent, and Hoke did us no service to reload.
Did they take even one shot on the outside? I can't recall. My point is they can only go up from here with their young recievers. Moreover.. just imagine what having any sort of vertical attack will do for opening up running lanes with Samuel.
I am dreading the Game next year. Today, OSU beat us with literally zero outside game. Little to no vertical attack. Can you imagine how that game is going to go next year when we have a young secondary, and they have a developed passing attack? I almost want to sit out next season just thinking about it.
