"just talked to burke, he says he's staying 2 more years!"

stinks to lose such a

stinks to lose such a talented guy, but i'm not entirely surprised.  high school decision-making is often based on what is happening at the moment, and our struggles in the passing game this year probably made LT think there were better places for him.

good day for umich... two

good day for umich... two football recruits and a solid win in bball.  and now back to studying, sigh.

wvu's been pressing hard for

what a shame.  horford plays

what a shame.  horford plays with so much effort/heart, he deserves better than legs that keep betraying him.

Couldn't agree more.

Couldn't agree more.  Dawson's going to make the university proud.

it also appears he's wasting

it also appears he's wasting time by running out his shotclocks in a devilish attempt to keep our lead from reaching its full potential

up 20 at half.  ugly start,

up 20 at half.  ugly start, but i love seeing this team not get down on itself and finish the half strong.

good to see solid numbers

good to see solid numbers backing an interesting stat.  and i finally have an excuse for why i miss so many shots in pick-up... i do it for the team!

I've got to agree with that

I've got to agree with that decision.  Get to the NFL before you can get injured again in college.  As for the recovery, ESPN called it a torn ACL and LCL... gruesome, but not the worst thing anyone's ever come back from.  I bet he gets taken in later rounds (4th or higher) by a good team that can afford to gamble on an RB's recovery (eg Patriots) and turns into a pleasant surprise.

i personally like (not love,

i personally like (not love, mind you) him b/c he's fun to watch (even lebron haters have to admit that) and he hasn't done anything particularly heinous as a human being (the announcement thing was stupid, but athletes have been worse things).

so it's always surprising to me how universally polarizing he is. the espn.com comment sections on heat articles are absolute warzones, and apparently the madness even extends itself to mgoblog!

i always loved the 3:30 games

i always loved the 3:30 games when i went to umich.  it meant waking later and more time to drink in the sun (a high quality combo).

you hit it on the head zoo.

you hit it on the head zoo.  every fanbase has idiots, and our idiots (like everyone else's) love to heckle recruits on twitter.  sadly, we can't do anything about it but shake our heads in disappointment.

glad to hear spike's on

glad to hear spike's on board... with a name like his, he's guaranteed to be a class A grit-star.

wow, 4 is astonishingly

wow, 4 is astonishingly bad... i know the wonderlic isn't hyperaccurate, but does anyone know what IQ a score of 4 is supposed to represent (i know 21 is average [IQ of 100])

hate to be uptight about the

hate to be uptight about the details, but i believe the penn state tight end (assuming you're referring to adam breneman) is a high 4* to 5*

i like this guy a lot.

i like this guy a lot.  despite being somewhat beanpole-esque for now he's not afraid of contact.  given a few years to bulk up, he should be able to morph into a big, physical corner for us.

too much stress for a friday

too much stress for a friday night.

this hasn't been a well-played game by us, by i give our guys a ton of credit for getting to overtime after minny's late run (shows mental toughness we're going to need).

glad to hear it... michigan

glad to hear it... michigan football always adds a little sunshine to my day (except for my junior and senior years there, sigh)

absolutely terrible.  and

absolutely terrible.  and here i thought the saints were a feel good story that year.

glad to hear he had a big

glad to hear he had a big game... i saw on the in-game thread that morgan tweaked/hurt (?) his shoulder.  how bad did it look... something to be concerned about?

good point, it appears i'm

good point, it appears i'm not the brightest tool in the shed

great idea... if only the

great idea... if only the cutoff were low enough for me to vote.  it's like being 19 again, you want the drinking age to be lower, but you can't vote to make it so.

always good to feel some

always good to feel some sunshine on a miiiiiiiiiserable night of studying

hats off to them both... it

hats off to them both... it feels like yesterday that i drunkenly turned around at skeeps and noticed that we were beating (then ended up beating) #4 UCLA.  i need to buy a novak jersey.

the plays were he steamrolls

the plays were he steamrolls some poor kid i understand, but the plays where the opposing coaches/players leave him unblocked?  i'm no high school coach, but i'd think you'd want a couple hats on that kid every play.

anyway, does anyone know if there's a good poggi highlight film out there.  a quick youtube search didn't pull up anything (but then i am terrible at internet and computer).

all right, that's it... i

all right, that's it... i thought i'd be getting work done and not drinking in celebration, but i guess michigan had other plans for me today

good day to start an account
