I think we get more than enough Temptation during the game..... I was in section 41 across from the band. I liked their tune selection while in the stands (way more than when I was in the band mid-80s). I was also anticipating more piped in music, I think the mix of live and recorded was fine. And mercifully, no Neil Diamond. The alumni band element always makes Homecoming halftime weird. All in all, enjoyed my experience. And we didn't sit for a single play of the game.
Can't say I really like his regular show but I really enjoyed Petros' work in the booth on Saturday. Entertaining and informative. Good change of pace from what are usually super-dry college broadcasts. Then again, I'm one of the few Cowherd fans here so what the heck do I know.
Seems to be 1/2 step off (in key of A instead of A flat). Any of you smart folks out there want to figure out how much a raised 1/2 step translates into extra beats per second of tempo? I knew it seemed fast...
I didn't check the pitch on Varsity to see if it's off because I can't remember the original key...
