This is an amazing round-up of the players we should keep an eye on. There had been so many new names and faces over the last year-plus that my head was swimming. Thank you.
I think this team would benefit most from adding a backcourt player that can nail the three and maybe, but not necessarily, play point guard. Louis Bullock (Ed Martin malfeasance duly noted) comes to mind.
...he humped a shark. How beastly is that? What coach out there is brave enough to nail a shark? Saban? Meyer? Harbaugh? No. McElwain did it and then denied it either because he is modest or a gentleman.
I am terrified of this Florida matchup and McElwain himself. I hope the game is cancelled due to damage from the hurricane that is threatening Texas.

I say take Neilon and Ruiz. I hope UM takes at least 6 OL in the '17 class. If Neilon and Ruiz want to come, they can bump that up to 7. The '17 roster scares the hell out of me, especially along both lines.
Arsenal is my favorite EPL club (yes, I'm suffering through identical league title droughts) This North Dakota game is reminiscent of each and every matchup pitting Wenger's squad against Bayern or Barcelona. North Dakota appears to be on a perpetual power play.
If you should find ME wearing a jersey, and YOU believe that YOUR opinion on what I wear supercedes MY desire to wear something I have chosen to wear on MY person, I will wear an item YOU purchase (within reason; reasonableness decided unilaterally by me) in liue of MY jersey.
Does his visit appear like the token Michael Kidd-Gilchrist visit a few years ago? If his interest is real (more than just a family reunion), what are UM's chances?

PSG will make it interesting. If they can beat Barcelone by more than a goal in Paris, then they may have something. If PSG's back 4 can deal with MSN, then their advantage in midfield will loom larger. But, that's a tall order. Only Real and Bayern boast such riches up front. I think PSG comes up short.
Barcelona beats PSG easily. I think Barca is the 2nd best club in the world and that they will reach the Final, unless they meet Bayern in the Semis after the bloodbath that Bayern/Porto will witness...
So, Bayern will pound Porto. Bayern is my pick to win it all.
Juventus should handle Monaco, but I thought Arsenal would get past them.
Atletico has RM's number. This rivalry reminds me of UM v. MSU. Atletico appears to take the rivalry much more seriously than Real right now. It is similar to MSU's obsession with Michigan and easily noticeable higher level of intensity in games. If Real gets Modric, Ramos, James (Isco may keep him out of the lineup nonetheless), back from injury maybe they get their mojo back from the first half of the season. I'm picking Atletico.
They have played six times since last season's CL Final in Lisbon. Atletico is 4-2-0. These results include winning the Spanish Supercup, knocking Real out of the Copa Del Rey, and a 4-0 punishing at the Vicente Calderon.
Even considering Real's on paper talent advantage, Atletico has to be the favorite.
Even if Nike offers something just barely north of the FSU deal, UM should grab it. Basketball commitments from Nike affiliated AAU programs will swiftly make up the difference. '14, '15, and (it appears more and more likely) '16 recruiting have been remarkably disappointing especially in light of the recent on-court success. Nike has power in the basketball recruiting realm that cannot be overstated.
My situation is such:
1. Developed love for Michigan in Rick Leach's senior season,
2. Attended rival university for law school; wore M gear on campus,
3. Took Michigan's rejection of RichRod due to his outsider/infidel status as a rejection of 'Walmart' Wolverines such as myself,
4. My M gear is in a box in my attic. I would love to wear it all again,
5. Will return to M fandom if Michigan has rejected the corrupted "Michigan Man" meaning. Hackett said the right things, now I will wait to see what he does.

The Ohio State offer means Michigan is not going to get any of them. That's tongue in cheek, BTW.

Marquise Walker vs. Iowa 2001.
My best guess is that the season will begin on time, but it will be shut down at some point before it ends.
I have some suspicion that the season may not happen at all due to the uptick in cases many areas are experiencing currently.
I hate Notre Dame more than any other Michigan rival, but I liked Tim Brown a lot. That dude was awesome.
Indeed.
Seth, you must elaborate on those two lines pertaining to Rueben Riley.
"The bar was set at Reuben Riley. Intelligence was the reason to hope he'd be more."
What?!?

Also late is my 2018 SEASON PREVIEW magazine. I paid for it, but it never arrived.

and worse yet, the folx who persist in using the old nickname.
Good show.

My preferred OL class:
T Hall, Wilson, Hainsley
G Slaton, Reid
C Ruiz (Nielon if he wants to come)
Leave (remove) the stripes, keep the (white) pants.
Agreed. She's a doll. You must know of "Live Prude Girls". If not, proceed to Youtube.

I may be goofy, but I double over everytime it comes on.
Carb (over)-loading for sure!

Madrid fan here too. Admittedly, I was not happy to read about this draw.

They have another "blind" draw for the semi-finals in late April. No brackets.
