Agreed. I played against Fargas in high school as a DE. He torched us for 300+ yds by the 3rd quarter and quickly shattered any misconceptions I had that I might be able to play college ball...
While I'm not totally excited for Part 5: The Buckemprire Strike Back, I couldn't be more excited for Part 6: The Return of the MANBALL, spearheaded by Devin Gardner and Shane Morris.
How pissed would you be as the sister, who just had it broadcasted to the world that you failed part of a med school final? I'm not in med school, so maybe this is common, but I'm betting she wasn't posting it on Facebook...
...and re-ordered thru MGoBlog. Brian needs to let people know that we can pre-order thru him and let him "wet his beak" - it's the least we can do for everything he gives us...
I even have an August birthday and would be perfectly happy if we skipped the month entirely if it meant we got to college football that much sooner....
These kids had their collecive backs against the wall today, were blamed for holding the team back all season (in the case of the D), picked themselves off the mat, and found a way to win. After the past few weeks when the comebacks came up just short, it was great to see them pull it off.
(Plus to watch the O, esp. Tate, going crazy for the D in OT was awesome...)
My girlfriend was sitting in the other room as I watched that clip. I can't really beat her description - "I'm not sure what you're watching, but over the course of about 30 seconds, a slight smile appeared on your face, which grew progressively larger and larger, until you were in a full Chesire Cat smile...."
"But, only .5 yds/play more than the defense usually gives up per game (6.07), and factoring out the OT scoring was just about equal per play for the season."
- I'm not sure whether to be pleased that the D was playing to the "average" for this season or I should hit the bottle...man, 65 points is a lot, even with 3 OT...
Of course, who are we kidding, we're all hitting the bottle, celebratory-style - BOWL GAME!
I hope to hell that he can reach those hallowed numbers, but something tells me that something will keep him from it - an injury, an off game (by him, O-line, receivers), an opposing D coordinator that has our number... Maybe I've just been beaten down the past few years - HOLD ON TO THE DAMN BALL - but I cautiously keep waiting for the other shoe to drop...
Of course, if it doesn't, holy hell, he'll have a season for the ages...
Our campus would be Stone Cold Sober too if all they could serve in the surrounding areas was 3.2 beer and no kegs allowed...
Unless everyone started funneling pitchers of the stuff...wait, that sounds about right for the tailgates around the IMDB...
But yes, in total agreement. Saw that and was like "Are they boasting about that?? They know Princeton Review uses that in a derogatory manner, right...?"
South is one of 2 "official," i.e. Michigan Alumni Association, gamewatch bars in LA, and definitely a good place to watch a Michigan game. Plus they give back 10% of each bill to the LA UM Alumni Assoc. Scholarship Fund, so you can feel a little better about eating and drinking for 4 hours...
...how each week is unique and obviously the result of a lot of thought (and hard work!) Keep up the amazing job, cause these are definitely the highlight of my Mondays...
Finding out the new wallpaper has definitely been the highlight of my Mondays for the past couple of weeks. My ND co-worker grudgingly complimented the No-Good Jesus and my Penn. St. coworker can't wait to see what you come up with in a month or so...
Anyone manage to get a screengrab of Kelly's face at the end of the first half, after the ball was thrown about 6 feet above Tacopants head out of the back of the endzone? That shot would be priceless...
