We are not ALWAYS Ohio State fans, I put it aside for one day, for about 2 hours. I was visiting Vicksburg National Battlefield and came upon several markers where soilders had fallen. There was a mix of Ohio and Michigan soilders together and for that brief time I stopped hating the glove state. Thank God it didn't last.
I guess you have a different point of view of course, but those Carr teams where mostly a formidable opponent. Hart and company although 0-4 still had that helmet game mystique to me. 2006 being the crown jewel (so far) of all the GAMES. It should be fun to watch. I'm sure Bo is pleased.
Finally we can get back to normal. It's been fun for us watching the demise the last few years. But having grown up in the Bo-Woody days I miss that tension that the GAME brought each year. The RR years were almost a joke. I give hoke credit for trying to rekindle it, going for two was indicative of that.( probably should have ran a different play after the timeout, just saying) Hoke proclaimed to "get it" and maybe he did to a certain extent. JH is a different animal altogether, he's a direct descendant from the Woody tree. I expect a completely different team even next year. We are light years ahead in talent at this point, but I know that gap will close soon. As a Buckeye fan and president of the Evan Turner fan club, I welcome it. Bring it on.
