Bring it.

November, Michigan Stadium

Ohio State. Young team, great coach, defending national champions.

#1 ranking, 22-game winning streak, 46 ppg offense.

Facing Michigan, underdogs, question-marks, new coach.

...

The year was 1969.

Bring it.

But let us hope instead of defending national champions the Buckeyes are coming off a hard fought loss in the national title game and on the verge of playing in the playoff again.... Only to lose to Harbaugh and his Wolverines.

I didn't know we were talking about the 68 team, but ok Harbaugh is inheriting a oline that did auch better job against osu dline then what Oregons oline is doing. We also get Ty Isaac, and a defense that also looked better against osu than this Oregon team is looking. Without about 3 unforced TOs this game wouldn't even be close right now.

Watching games like this only serve to remind me how far away we have been from competitive football.  I don't share your optimism for the immediate future.

To be the best you've got to beat the best which look to be in our very own conference. I hope Harbaugh and the team are gearing themselves up because it's going to be a long road but they've now got the talent and leadership it's all about the work and drive now. There are going to be challenges but also opportunities and hopefully our team is ready to seize them every day. Carpe diem it's on. Now back to Flight Behavior which is actually quite good.

Since I can't post a new topic, I will post here, since it has to do with our success next season.

While scanning through prop bets on Bovado before the game tonight and when I got to the bottom, guess what the last prop bet was for tonight game's??

Michigan total wins for next season - set at 8 1/2.

So of course I canceled all my other bets and loaded my entire bankroll on the over!

Discuss and Go Blue!

That's exactly the way I'm thinking of a potential OSU victory. Too many parallels.

Oregon may still pull it off, but if they don't, I know why. Because 1969 is calling.

Michigan is due for a resurgence. I would bet all my money too but I don't have any. The confuluence of events has shown us that the prodigal son has come home and we are hoping that he will right the ways of what is known to those who have followed Michagan football for more than the last decade.

I know lots of people don't think it will happen overnight but there is lots of talent on the team that has not played the way many would have expected them to. This is really the question, can Harbaugh coach them up? If so, we will have an epic 2015!

Who knows what'll happen for the rest of tonight. Oregon could still pull this one out.

All I know is that no matter what happens next year, whether OSU is defending national champs or not, whether OSU enters Michigan Stadium 0-11 or 11-0, Harbaugh will have his team fired up and ready to go. That game is personal for him, and he will be foaming at the mouth to go out and punch Meyer's team right in the throat. You think he was motivated to beat Carroll at USC? How motivated will he be to take down Meyer at OSU?

Give me a break. People had the same macho fake BS when Urban was hired. All he has done is dominate the conference in a way Michigan never has and is poised to collect his third NC which is more than Michigan has in the last 60 plus years. OSU is a juggernaut and that is not going to change, Harbaugh or not.
