Dude, Brian, when is the last time you wrote an article without at least alluding to the injustices suffered by your beloved Rich Rod. We all get it dude. It didn't work out for a myriad of reasons, but can you please write one entry without bringing him up.
You are a good writer, but I think we are past the point where you need to feel obligated to bring him up in every post as some sort of tangent stand in. We know, you liked him, and you feel he wasn't given a fair shot. Others feel he was inadequate and didn't "get" Michigan. Great, we can debate until the end of time, but for whatever reason his tenure was a miserable failure in terms of wins and losses. You were wrong, I was wrong. We expected success he never achieved. Let go of the man crush.
But are we really ever in the position to play this game in week 1 of the season given the horror? I would rather keep my mouth shut, at least until I see the product we are putting out this year.

As for UF, the students are awesome, girls are hot as hell, but there are way too many yocal folk at the games...and they aren't the classiest bunch. That being said, he probably sat next to two n-bomb raging lunatics that ruined his experience and soured his perspective.

I know Ole Miss has some Ole Dixie song about the south rising again...which is quite backwards, redneck, and uncreative but coming round the mountain even worse.

Maybe its my Maize and Blue goggles but is Cousins totally overrated? Every publication has him as a top 10 player in the Big 10. Denard to me is far and away the most dangerous player in the conference.
They cheated for a decade and cost Lloyd a dream exit in 2006. The class that was Lloyd Carr should have gone out with a national championship. Troy Smith was ineligible for that game.

I was bored today and watched the 97 UM vs. PSU game....What a nasty defense. Cant wait to see what Mattison and Hoke do with these recruits going forward. What I noticed was that the defensive line was in the backfield all day. The 2006 defense was pretty sweet, but ran out of gas at the end of the year. 97 was just so nasty.

It's a fair question if somebody can just "get it" or if it is indeed a slow process.
Being upset that a walk-on beat out a 5* at an important position is a fair reason for concern.
Being hopeful that BWC can just "get it" may be unrealistic, but it is not a trollish question.
