If it's a uniform base pay, I don't see how it stops the wild west of NIL games for attracting talent. If it's not uniform, what criteria are used? It's not like the NFL where draft position can be used to set the salary structure.
Considering the odds of making it to the NFL, giving 13 draft picks and 6 strong UDFA's a shot at making rosters is one heck of an achievement to go along with a National title.
