What in the new comments to The Daily indicates that Schlissel is interested in our football tradition? All that it shows to me is that he is a nice person who is williing to clarify a few points that are irrelevant to his interest in Michigan football.
Arrived as a freshman in '64...never had a U-M president who seemed to care so little about the importance of football to the ethos of Michigan...the only place besides Stanford with superb academics and athletics.
And why are the Mgobloggers so willing to sell out to this guy? Because he's nice?
