1 year 27 weeks ago	Only The Tip of The Iceberg	Paterno has known this Guy for 33 years, worked closely with him, considered him a best friend. Is it credible that he never saw anything like an inappropriate touch, leering, too close for comfort moments with kids, off hand comments? Coaches at big programs have little time for their own children.  Did Paterno not find it odd that the perv had time for sleepovers and foster children. I'm guessing when the smoke clears we'll find out Joe knew a lot more than he admits to now.  As his power wanes people will come forward and complete the picture, books will be written.  We are only witnessing the tip of the iceberg.
2 years 16 weeks ago	MSU Bitter Rivals	I went through a large part of my life wanting to beat MSU but cheering for them in all their other games, even after "THE VOTE". Then the website Bitter Rivals came online and I realized how much they hated UM.  We focused on Ohio State and MSU focused on us. After a couple of years of reading the vitriol I was bitter too.  I hope we return to dominating them in all sports during my lifetime.

The wolverine football community is big enough for all points of view.  If Brady Hoke can't coach successfully because someone on the internet hurt his feelings we are in trouble.

2 years 17 weeks ago	We'll Know In Two Weeks If He Is A Man of His Word.	How Do we evaluate the recruiting class.  Scout rank? Rivals? ESPN? or BH's Opinion? Comparison to RR before the firing? Seems like we need an objective measure.
2 years 17 weeks ago	Brandon's Job Should Be on The Line if Hoke Doesn't	work out.  He has said so many inconsistent things I can't separate the truth from the lies.  I suspect he timed the RR firing to save money 1.5 milli of the buyout.  If Hoke is a loser in three years we should get a new AD to find a new coach.
2 years 17 weeks ago	Few Weeks = 2 Weeks Exactly	Most recruits are not dyed in the maize and blue homers,  They don't care about Michigan Men.  They are looking for someone who is a proven winner (even if they have hit a bad patch) who can prepare them for the pros. From that prospective Rich Rod had a winning track record.  Brady Hoke does not.  We can take a chance and change if it doesn't work out.  For many of these recruits this might be their only chance for a decent life.  They want as close to a sure thing as they can get. Hoke gets the recruiting mojo at this level only if he wins.

When will Denard release a statement saying he is staying? When I read the freep article it seemed like he wasn't featuring Denard in the offense but giving him a chance to compete for the job. 2 years 18 weeks ago	Brian Is Just Being Realistic, The Team With The	Best Cheerleaders rarely win championships. You need a good well coached team.     My fear is his wonderful Rah Rah personality will lead to us accepting mediocrity because he is such a nice guy.

2 years 18 weeks ago	Unfortunately, You Are Not A Top Recruit for 2011	They seem to be realists and less impressed with the hype.  They are voting with their feet.  Signing Day looks to be a sad day.  He could bring those 5 star recruits with him from SDSU unfortunately he didn't have any and we don't offer JUCO classes.
2 years 18 weeks ago	Everything Brandon Said Was BS	If Hoke doesn't succeed we should use the big money he was prepared to spend to replace Brandon and the coach. Every time I see Brandon the Kanye West song "Me and My Ego" comes to mind.  Seemed like he was self reflecting when he said that all the other coaches he interviewed were interested in themselves.  His web posting on 1/10/2011 was all about him.
2 years 18 weeks ago	I Loved The Conditioning Improvement	We were able to compete in the 4th Quarter.  Under Carr we'd have a two touchdown lead in the third and were too tired to compete in the 4th.  I hated losing becase we ran out of gas.  I am sorry to see the only coach that wasn't fired by Dominos was fired by Hoax ( I mean Hoke).

2 years 18 weeks ago	Starbursts	Both the rainbows and butterflies were drowned out by the Starbursts from everyone's eyes.  If love won football games we would certainly be hoisting the glass football next year. I kept hearing the Love Boat Theme.
2 years 18 weeks ago	We Have Entered The Vince Dooley Syndrome	Brian, I am with you.  Most really good coaches are gruff and not rah rah guys because they prove themselves on the field and have no need to smooze and kiss people's butt.. Bo was mean as hell. Woody-goes without sayin.  Bear-mean.  Lombardi-mean. and the list goes on. Vince Dooley the legendary coach of Georgia (legedary for 1 Hershell Walker year only).  Hung around the program for years making sure they hired rah rah coaches who would never do better than he did,  We have our Dooley in Lloyd Carr. The President of Georgia figured it out and snuck and hired a non-Dooley guy; war ensued, Dooley was out and the program came back (this bad year notwithstanding). Carr is thrilled that we hired his guy.  Hoke's stretch goal is mediocrity.  If not he would have looked at his record and quit coaching a long time ago.  We've all seen this movie before.  Without the Freep Creeps dogging him out 24/7 he'll be given a chance. He's a great recruiter.  Haha lets see how fast our good recruiting class runs away.  It is at near stampede speed already. Who wouldn't want to play for such a legendary winner. I cried and curled up into the fetal position when I heard that our new coach would not be the proven national wonder coach we had been promised.  National Search, Really?  He was the guy hiding between the cookies and the potato chips. Then I decided that I take this stuff too seriously 30+ years after graduation. Time to go Global and cheer for Real Madrid and Barcelona.  No more planning my life around Michigan Football.  The rest of the world has written us off as a football power, with this move we have acknowledged that they are right. Congratulations Brady Hoke you got the job of your dreams I hope by some miracle you succeed beyond our wildest dreams.  More likely we'll be back here in 3 years debating whether we should keep you because you are such a nice guy, you tried so hard, a December 28th bowl is not so bad, at least we are honest.
