Y’all should hire Jeff Hafley. Dude is a star in the making and would recruit his ass off at Michigan. Emanates “it” factor, everyone loves him. I feel comfortable saying this because I know it won’t happen.
The comical absurdity of preseason predictions about the proportion of a player's fumbles that will be lost drove me to login to this site for the first time in years just to point out said absurdity.
I didn't watch all of UM's games, but in The Game Peppers was a liability on defense.
Seemed like every big play we hit was facilitated by Peppers overrunning the play, biting hard on play action or jet sweep motions and completely vacating his lane, and/or just missing tackles in the open field.
Kid is a freak and it shows in the return game but he's not a good LB. Don't know why he doesn't see more time on offense.
That hit wasn't from the blindside, and that's why I have hope there won't be a huge drop off in OSU's offense. JT Barrett won't need Braxton's jaw-dropping athletic ability if he is more adept at reading defenses, which is allegedly his game.
I appreciate all the kind words for Braxton on here, he always seemed like a stand-up guy and I know half of our fan base would not be so kind.
No doubt OSU boosters and backers continue their shady operations. But if you don't think UofM players are getting any special perks, you're being naive. No football team with such a massive fan base can completely prevent improper benefits.
I don't know the relative scale of improper benefits, and I don't remember the last time a UofM player was arrested at a cocaine fueled melee at the Grown & Sexy Lounge, so I'm not offended by the lawlessness rhetoric surrounding OSU football. But let's not pretend like these problems aren't universal, even if they vary in degree.
