I don't think that the athletic department has sent out the email yet, but there will be a student bus that you can buy a ticket for with your game ticket for the Jan 30 game. If you're a student season ticket holder expect an email soon.
Be careful. I tried to sneak in last year at night and got stopped by a cop who was sitting in the back of the parking lot and said he saw me on a camera. He was really nice about it and I didn't get in trouble but if you try it just know it's a risk. He also said that he thought it would be open again after the renovations.
The name is still up in the air. We love Children of Yost but we are completely open to suggestions and will talk it over. Like I said, we want to be a forum, we don't want to impose our ideas.
Also, we talked with the Maize Rage guys in the spring to get advice and ideas. Right now our goal is just to get this thing going but I'm sure we'll talk to them more once we are more established.
According to the athletic department student hockey ticket sales are just about where they were last year and may end up exceeding last year's total when all the orders are in. This year might actually be the biggest student section ever. Yost will be fine.
