I mean, it looks like Dez

I mean, it looks like Dez Bryant tried just as hard as Zeke did to stop the returner.  More worried about showing his disappointment than actually stopping the guy.

But think of all the points

But think of all the points you could be getting.

Nice

I'll take it for now, but we'll see what that NPV calculation is come December.

Phyllis

Come at me Coturd!  Ain't nobody going to take on the SEC!

Its not even fan overreation

Its not even fan overreation any more.  I cant even count on my fingers anymore how many open recievers there are and we just cant get them the ball.  Gardner 2 years ago is light years ahead of what we see now.

Show of force

As a current Marine who has seen these vehicles in action, I'm positive they will not be used in the same capacity as in Iraq or Afghanistan.  Most likely, they will be used a s show of force to break up any riots that could break and keep people in check, much like mounted police officers.  If you havent been around the military, these vehicles are absoultely massive in comparision to civilian vehicles and only a couple could easily disaude a riot.

With the draw down in the military look to see more MRAPs within the United States as a large surplus of vehicles were created due to government contracting.  Also, look to see more MATVs across America as well, they serve the same purpose but looks like a SUV version. Its higher off the group and imo would be a better tool for a show of force given its more compact size (relative) and manueverability.

Too painful to watch...I feel

Too painful to watch...I feel like Ive seen this story every time Michigan plays a team with a pulse on the road.  A higher seating in the tourney might benefit this team because they sure do struggle playing the favorite role.  At least in the tourney everyone routes for the underdog.

Happy 237th

Current 3d Battalion, 7th Marines in 29 Palms.  Living the dream despite that 29 heat.  Semper Fi.

LOL

I like how he states that Rutgers will win more if they join the Big Ten.  Cause I mean you know the Big East...and they win so much.  Being from New Jersey I can tell you that 1) No one cares about Rutgers athletics at all and 2) No one even wants to go to Rutgers if they can avoid it.

Hmmm...

I'm fairly confident that Utah State would wish that was the case, seeing Auburn tacked on a good 45 yards from their onsides recovery.

The fact that all these

The fact that all these allegations/findings already happened within a probation cycle (5 years from the basketball violations) Id be willing to bet they will get alot more than just another 5 year probation.

Id say 7-8 years probation, vacated last years wins/bowl, 2 year post season ban, 25 scholorships over 5 years

Another way you can look at

Another way you can look at it is see how close to 3-9 we were this year.  3OT win to Ill, last min (literally) wins to Ind and ND and a 5 point eek to UMASS.

Not saying that all of these could have/should have been losses, but it brings a different perspective as to how 'close to the top' we are with how 'very close to the bottom' we are.

In all honesty

What gives people the perception that our defense will even be good next year?  Our defense will still be 'young' and vast improvement is far from garrentee.  In addition, whats to say that the defense even has the potential to great?

There are little to no signs of it right now, just look at JT Floyd he is a RS soph this year and did pretty poorly.  Whats to say the whole secondary next year wont look the same?  Going from 100+ ranked D to 70s isnt going to win us 10 games let alone 8.

the first and second pic

the first and second pic looks alot brighter, probably just the angle though

its not the fact that we lost

its not the fact that we lost to those team but more the fact that we were totally outmatched in all 5 of our losses without a resonable shot at winning them.

If you were correct in your If you were correct in your logic Mouton would be a very high draft pick
Intersting stuff especially Intersting stuff especially cause of the somewhat conflicting nature of your poll. There are still a majority that say RR has not shown enough improvement in his tenure which goes against the idea of retaining him because of 'progress'.
JH vs. RR

I am a RR supporter through and through, at least for him to get a chance to play HIS team with mostly upper classmen, even though the D will still be young.

I was in the RR camp until UM lost soundly to every decent team.

What I think the main issue here between JH and RR is if RR gets that 4th year, will we compete for titles?  Probably not. Then RR is probably gone and so is JH at that point in time.

Sportsmanship

Either you have it or you dont...1/2 of blog posters have it  the other 1/2 dont

Other conferences

Dont know much about ratings, but are other stations like ABC and NBC booked for Conference Championship week and we somehow get stuck with FOX?

Academics

Well if academics was your number one priority for college, I would hope you wouldn't choose Clemson or Miami (FL) over Michigan....

Go Blue!

I know Wisc just killed

I know Wisc just killed Indiana, but Purdue did hang with them for 3 quarters and lead at half.  Dont think any Vegas insider would make this point spread much higher, due to the inconsistencies of Wisc.

And of Michigan for that matter....

Courtney Avery was ranked the

Courtney Avery was ranked the #94th best CB in the class according to ESPN.  Hardly well-regarded...

Does this move also put the

Does this move also put the WAC into the FCS?

Byron Moore Jr.

Anyone hear any updates on Byron Moore?  There was an article about him couple months ago, seems like he could potentially be the biggest contributer right away for the defense.

Sammy Watkins

Looking at ESPN's recruiting class rankings, Clemson already has 2 WR commits (Charone Peake and Martavis Bryant) who are ranked higher than Sammy Watkins.  Pending a Dallas Crawford commitment how is UM not in the lead for Watkins as well?  From a pure PT standpoint, doesn't Watkins have a much better chance at being an every down receiver, being the highest ranked receiver on UM, rather than being the 3rd best at Clemson?
