No worries! I typically watch at home as well and often display the same types of behavior you described.

Hey OP! I'm a recent transplant to Nashville. Got any favorite bars to watch the games?

Your assumption is the correct one, I believe.

I too am interested! I've spent a great deal of time in Almaty and was also surprised to see this post. In fact, the only reason I created a username here was to post a few times when I was abroad. Fun fact, the Kazakhs also know MSU. I saw some very cool turquoise colored MSU crest sweatshirts with an obvious misprint I can't recall at the moment. Perhaps I can dig up the picture I took.

5-wide sets.

I was just thinking about all of the WR talent the team now has (assuming Van Jefferson comes as well). With Black, DPJ, Collins, and Martin all having a year under their belts, Perry being a known commodity, Crawford maybe picking it up with better QB play and Jefferson thrown into the mix as well...we could see some pretty awesome 5 wide packages if the coaching staff wants to take advantage. And in drooling over all the WR talent, I forgot about the TEs. Now let's just pray that the Oline allows us to have nice things.

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up! I've got a nice set up at my apartment and was looking to see if anyone was around these parts to join me. But now I'll will have to swing by Bar Druzhba and check it out. It's not too far from where I'm at.

RUSSIA!

Still searching for anyone in St. Petersburg to watch with. Funny thing about these Russians, they don't seem to like American football too much.

2nd part.

I'm more inclined to agree with the second part of your post - regarding the Michigan special. Live to fight another down in that situation. That looked like a 4th down scramble play with the game on the line. The FG should be a gimme from there.

Here's to hoping...

Here's to hoping it is the absolute worst QB mistake we see tonight.

Revenge.

It was a revenge game for him. Now if we can just get all of the remaining teams we play to hire a coach O'Korn still holds a grudge against, we will be golden.

Thanks!

Thanks! I like your avatar. And being a fan since birth, I know all too well the highs and lows. Beat Indiana!

New

New here. I'm a long time reader but have stayed away from creating an account. I'm on the other side of the world, though, for this season and initially logged on to see if anyone was close by to watch games. The floodgates may have opened...

Mad or not, thanks for the info!

500th Conference win?

I think I just saw on Game Day that a win today would be Michigan's 500th B1G win? I've had a few barley pops already and can't really do math really good. Can anyone confirm?

Kirkwood Ave.

I've never been to Bloomington for a game but was there for a summer program a few years back. The stadium is a bit north of campus but the campus grounds alone are worth a stroll. Kirkwood Ave is their main drag. Nick's English Hut is a good bar with tons of tvs. The Villag Deli is right down the street and has decent breakfasts. One street north on 6th is a joint called Runcible Spoon which is very good for breakfast but is small and gets rather crowded.

St. Petersburg, Russia?

Hey all - long time reader, only recently registered. This may get no reponse given the fact that this thread has likely run its course but are there any MGoBloggers in St. Petersburg, Russia? I'll be here through the football season and wouldn't mind company watching the games. That and drinking vodka.
