The coolest things I have are the two ceramic stadiums, large and small. What really makes them cool is I bought them in an Ohio State store right down the rd from the horseshoe while I was dating an Ohio state student. So that made me smile a bit more. |

Forget getting him actual beer. Find a local place that you can get all the fixings to brew your own beer right at home. There's a place right by me and you get all the components for around 150$ then you jut buy the "kits" to make whatever beer you want. It takes a while but the effort, time, and choices make it delicious. |

How's the rest of the car? If the engine body an interior are good it may be worth a transmission rebuild. Shop around I had a transmission on a Dodge Dakota and Olds Intrigue rebuilt and both were under 1000$. Automatic trans. |

Just ask him something about coaching or what his plans are for Akron U and such.
I actually have an opportunity May 14th at an Akron Aeros game where he'll be greeting Akron U employees and signing autographs and such. I am really tempted to have a fake ID made where my name is Go Blue so I can have an autograph made up.

With the same day announcement that Pitino was going to the hall of fame I can't not feel this was a total hose job by the NCAA. You can say the refs were bad for both teams but as pointed out the calls against Michigan cost us points or allowed points to Louisville. All of the bad calls against Louisville were always in transition. Between this and the recent videos going around about the nba referees I think basketball needs a serious overall. Idk how you achieve any semblance of fairness though without pausing the game a ton. Maybe review everything and allow teams to only have 1 timeout each half then get all the other rest during reviews. Either way I won't be watching basketball again for a while. |

This is the worst worst officiated game I've ever seen. Immediately 2 points stolen on a missed goal tend and the trend stayed there. Sure there were some ticky tack calls on Louisville but they didn't effect the score like the bullshit non calls for Michigan. I kept a note of what they missed and there was at least 5-6 points for Michigan and a 3 pointer directly after a non call for Louisville. So swing the score and were in it till the final buzzer. Not this shit show perpetrated by the officials we had to sit through. Fuck Rick Pitino. I've never seen a coach so far out on the floor the entire game but no one cared. |

I think it's a charge in the refs mind because the offensive player was clearly out of control. Look at how high on the backboard he hit that shot. Had it gone up softer or in the bucket maybe they call a block? If the offense looks out of control it will most likely go against them. |

Thanks for pcing what you hear all the time wearing your Michigan gear. I'm about 30 minutes south of Cleveland and I don't think I've ever gotten a response as gentle as "why are you wearing THAT?" from an Ohioan. It's really taxing living here and being a M fan. |

Was listening to WOOD radio on the iheart app while I was working. Went crazy when he hit the three while I was unloading my truck. People just kind of stared at me. I heard the overtime period while heading home on the turnpike. Made for a great drive. I enjoyed how the Michigan commentator kept saying how the Florida radio guys next to him had to be getting annoyed because he was elbowing them and squirming around. Love it when the personalities love their team. |

I build models of aircraft and race cars as my hobby and belong to several internet forums for several years. There's guys on these that have forgotten more things about aircraft than most of us will ever know. I linked the alumni article there and will see if anyone knows anything about it. I figure if the museum has been working on it this long then the info is sadly lost for all time. The records dept suffered a fire many years ago and sadly a lot of service records from WWII were lost. With no backups unless you have someone who was there or may have something in their collection it's hard to piece things together. Also sadly those who lived through this are becoming more scarce every day :(. Maybe someone will know something. If the 43rd has a group then there is probably some form of historian associated with them. Just need to find the right person.
