pretty apprehensive about this book and didn't plan on reading it. LC is a friend of my extended family. I've met the guy personally. I could give you have a dozen examples of why the he's pretty awesome and will always be a Michigan Man in my eyes. It's been my understanding that none of us pass the saint test under scrutiny. Whatever perceived sins LC committed in your eyes...I'm 100% positive he did them because he thought it was the right thing to do for him and for Michigan. I've changed my mind on John's book and plan on reading it....but keep it in mind when you do page through that LC may have made some mistakes..but his overall legacy at UofM is that of a Michigan Man who continues to represent our University well and gives way more than he has ever taken. Looking forward to your book John...you're right. The truth only helps. |

I can't remember the last time we shut out a Big Ten team...crappy or not.. 2003 or something. To say this means nothing is just a bit disingenuous don't you think? I knew Scott in school.. he was going to start someday until he busted up his throwing hand. I think he nearly tore his thumb off. Bad enough that it was obvious he'd never play again. Class act all the way. i hope he gets the chance to caoch at Michigan again. |

"jumped the shark" is the new "where's the beef?". just a feeling...I think we are going to see "Qb-by-committee" this fall. This team is going to live or die with the O-line. 4-0 start this season. Hell...if Michigan could have held on to the ball on punts and kick offs alone last year they would have been 6-6. Wolverines should beat ND handily...provided Odoms, Warren, and co. have been treated for their near terminal cases of fumble-itis. GO BLUE! And go Huskies - bitch-slap FYState please. they are the ones who hold sway over the subject of night games...not the AD..not Uof M. The lack of parking around the big house is a huge factor. As is the added police to combat the all-day party. (the police dept. is against it.). Before you go throwing the blue hairs under the bus you should know your facts. It's the city dummy...not the university. They'll be quick to remind you that 2/3rds of A2 residents are not in school. I know...I've gone up against them in the past...they have the final say about kick off times. |
