This is unexpectedly great content for this time of year. I know it ruins the nice tidy 25 number, but there's one more, near the bottom right: "I've been known to come through on occasion"
I would add Bill Wirtz to the list of highlights. I've lived in Chicago since 1999 so I'm split about 50/50 with the Bill vs. Rocky ownership, and I know everybody knows this now, but wow what an instantaneous change, even before the team had really done anything, just Rocky putting the games on TV, sitting in the regular seats instead of the owners box, etc. I wear my Red Wings gear a lot, and I used to get no reaction at all, or even occasionally a compliment (!); but that fall/winter it changed completely, to hostility and profanity-laced insults everywhere I went. Exactly as it should be. Good to have you back, #@($()$&* Blackhawks fans.
I love it how there's always at least one guy who, after he refuses to name a leader at QB, thinks he can trick him into naming one if he just asks the question in a slightly different way.
I've long thought if they would just enforce "stop when the whistle blows" they could largely solve this. Yes, there's going to be some ref's judgment controversy, but it currently works pretty well overall with late hits, so I don't see why it can't work with fumble pile-ons. And yes, until players get used to it, the refs will be having to tally up a bunch of offenders from both sides to see which team ends up with the net penalty. In any event, whichever team ends up penalized does not get possession, ever.
Reminds me of Wheatley's own running style: once he got through the initial hole, he had just enough of a move to make a tackler or two miss just enough that he could break through to open field, where he could then use The Big Speed. Smith doesn't have the big speed, but I like the idea of bowl-game Smith all year long, healthier because he's not taking so many solid hits
I don't know which was worse, watching the game from that angle or being told over and over again by the guys behind the mics, both at the game and in the studio, how wonderful it was. Obviously under orders to sell it hard.
I almost stretched the list to include this year's signees, just so I could include him. That said, WR is by far the deepest position for great names. Even stretching the lineup to three, I had to leave off Gilvanni Johnson, Amani Toomer, Mercury Hayes, Tai Streets, Drew Dileo, ...
Some of the other GIFs here are maybe more fun, but the who-are-you-and-what-have-you-done-with-the-real-De'Veon Smith performance had me laughing out loud the whole game
I apologize if this ground has already been covered but I've been looking at his history and don't see anything about him wearing a position coach hat as well at any of his previous stops. When he played football, he was a running back, fwiw. Anybody know what's going to happen with linebackers coach duties?
I was kind of surprised by that too, but only because I'd been kinda assuming he wouldn't come back for his 5th year. But, um, now that I think about it, he's, like, totally not ready for the NFL yet.
Nice (and unexpected) to see the name of my old high school pop up in a recruiting post. Hooray Simeon Smith! And aiming for Engineering school as well. I'll have fun following his career.
He put the MMB CD on with that final punt play still pending. Me: "this is premature, don't do it, oooooooooh, look what's happening oooooooh noooooooo it's over."
I thought Lewis cleared up how this happened perfectly well at the press conference. It appeared on his leg. Just like the coaches taught him to do it.
This has to be such a confidence boost for the players, and just more motivation to work hard in practice, knowing the coaches have a plan for everything
...it seems like BTN gave us way more of them than usual overall. Maybe because it was homecoming? I loved getting the entire fight song right at the top.
I still don't know how that interception happened, but I love his description of it: "...I didn’t even know I had it. It was on my leg, so as soon as I saw it on my leg I just started hitting it.”

I'd really like to hear Harbaugh's tone of voice and see the look he gave that guy when he answered that one.
It. Was. The. Fourth. Play. Of. The. Game.
I think I'd add commas, though, just so it doesn't read like an imperative
It's long for a nickname, but it would be really great anyway if it stuck. Maybe use "NSB" and add it to the MGoGlossary
Please make this an MGoTShirt
You know how you sometimes get a song stuck in your head? I've now got Keith Jackson saying this name stuck in my head

If only Jake had drunk more whole milk as a kid, he would be taller and that pass doesn't get batted
There has to be a way to make Nebraska and Minnesota permanent rivals. The Five-Dollar-Bits-of-Broken-Chair Trophy is too young to die!
Is Sasha a cocker spaniel? Reminds me of my old buddy Clyde the cocker spaniel
Fun, but pretty much all Denard
That's my favorite moment of zen ever.
And who was the last Michigan QB drafted in the first round? Starts with an H . . .
Yet another reason I'm excited about this team: great senior leadership. It'll be interesting to see who they vote in as Captains

How disappointing

I'd upvote you but I hate to ruin your perferctly symmetrical mgopoints total
Almost always preceded by "two tight ends in a balanced line..."
Definitely beats Rondell Biggs. Edit made

Strange that they didn't mention position coaching in any of the run-downs of his coaching history that I read. Guess I didn't dig deep enough

Against tempotempotempo Indiana is when we could really use that depth so they can stay fresh
Priceless! I want Mags in more pressers!

Thanks -- now I know what I'm watching on TV tonight
And not at the stadium -- watching it on TV.

Me too, Keith
I upvoted the original post, but I have to say that is no "kid." Impressive man. Impressive Michigan man

"Who you gonna believe? Me or your own two eyes?"
Harbaugh said Chesson is the fastest guy on the team. Therefore Chesson is the fastest guy on the team.
That would be sooooo heartwarming!
