Whatever necessary, as corny as it may sound, I think when playing the service academy schools, they deserve at the very bare minimum not being booed.
I may be different if they are a rival or something, but that's just what I think.

I think everyone will say that, based one what everyone has seen and knows so far, it's more likely that Forcier will be steadier and more consistent. Not that D-Rob will suck, but won't be as consistent as Forcier.
However, hopefully Sheridan is the steadiest and most consistent -- going 0 for 0 with 0 rushing attempts, every week, from the bench.
I think USC will be fine because even if the QB play struggles, they have such amazing talent at nearly every other position. They might not compete for a NC if QB play doesn't pick up by the end, but they'll still be good.
I don't care at this point if I have 20 points or get banned from mgoblog. I don't see why I'm getting so many negative points on every comment I make, and I know I'll probably get another -10 for this post but I don't really care.

Over freaking reaction. I even said in the original post it was not to bring up negatively or obsess over MSU, but to state a fact. MSU is not a four-letter word (in more than one sense obviously). Not every mention of the phrase "Little Brother" is to call Michigan State "Little Brother" to prolong it.
The fact is, Mike Hart called MSU "Little Brother" and 2 years later a majority of MSU fans (at least the ones from this board) are basically saying, "No YOU'RE the little brother." Whether one is stupid and one is not, or both of them are, it doesn't matter. It's what's happening.
If you don't want to read the post then don't read the post. It is still not obsessing. There are threads on here about recruits who have already ruled out Michigan -- are those threads living in the past and obsessing?
Just because SOME people will post "OMG DANTONIO IS A QUEEF" as the Thread headline and spend the whole post talking about how he is indeed a queef simply because he is the coach for MSU doesn't mean the word Dantonio should be banished altogether from mgoblog.

Haha I don't know if this is a joke or a for real, sort of, "Grow up" kind of statement. If it's a joke then it's for real really funny.
I don't call my older brother "little brother" either. Mostly because I'm 5'8" 155lbs and all of my 3 brothers (1 is younger than me) are each over like 225 (and a little taller)...but also because just because they're MSU fans doesn't make them MSU. They didn't play there they just cheer for them.

I only posted this because I was very surprised that the overall response 2 years after the fact is "You are." My brother showed it to me and that's the only reason I saw it. I said in my post it wasn't an obsession thing or an anti-MSU thing -- I was, again, just surprised.

According the book "Tom Brady and the Pursuit of Everything", co-written by Brady, he says that Henson was awarded playing time because of pressure from the boosters since Henson was the hometown boy. It also said a lot a lot a lot of people thought Brady had severely outperformed Henson leading up to the season.

I understand it's easy to think Tebow is a douche but it really isn't his fault he gets so much press. In his defense he does everything right, and does it all humbly.
Again, it's not his fault the media wants his dick. What's he supposed to say? "STOP INTERVIEWING ME!!!" or "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"? Then everyone would be calling him a dick.
I'm giving you a point though because I'm not aiming this at you. I just don't understand most of the hatred or disgust with Tebow. He's one of the few stars in college football who seems to have his feet firmly on the ground.
I've heard Dantonio is an active Catholic, and this would give him a more prestigious program, keep him in the midwest for recruiting, and keep him in the Michigan rivalry. One negative for him, however, would be the ND-MSU rivalry.
I'm not saying he WILL leave for Notre Dame, just with Charlie Weiss probably leaving soon due to him being a lousy college coach, the position could be open. Also, Notre Dame could afford to pay him a lot of money -- how much would be required to make it as appealing as the MSU contract, I don't know.
I seriously hate Dantonio. His attitude, his job, his comments, his face.....friggin everything.
Actually last year during the Minnesota game the commentator mentioned that a lot of Minnesota players don't even view it as a rivalry anymore because they never ever ever win.
I HATE to say it but I think little brother could make a run at it too...but only because, like last year, I don't think the Big 10 will be quite as tough as normal, and they don't play Ohio State.
I also think they could do really shitty. I think it all depends on their QB play and if they get decent running from their non-Ringers.
