This is what happens when you mix a person with a Napolean complex and a diva WR.
I am one year older and I went to middle school with Braylon at U of D Jesuit Academy and then Michigan with him in the early 2000s. Braylon is and will always be who he is. I remember when he arrived at the Jesuit Academy as a skinny 7th grader who still had the high pitched voice. He thought he was "all that" because of his dad and the fact that he was running in national track meets in Hershey, PA but cried when he got cut from the basketball team. He was picked on constantly and always felt the need to prove himself.(Ohio nightclub incident)
No one thought that he would ever do the things that he did at U of M as he didn't mature physically until much later in high school. If I remember correctly he started off going to high school at Detroit Martin Luther King and did not play football there before he went to Bishop Gallagher.
In 2001, his freshman season in AA, Lloyd Carr called Braylon a candy ass during a team meeting to which Braylon replied, "Shut up Droopy!". This is the infamous incident that led to the two of them to not be on the same page. So yes it was he who you saw running the stadium steps. I also remember Braylon and Chris Perry sucker punching an associate of mine at a house party in 2001 because my friend was a non-athlete getting more girls than them.
Like someone on this board said it before, "Braylon's gonna Bray"
Just an observation but am I the only one that is getting puzzled and frustrated with the lack of highly touted skilled players that actually decide to come to Michigan?
Shane Morris doesn't count in this instance as well as DG because they are homegrown and likely lifelong UM fans.
On the national stage it seems like we are always used as leverage with the players at the QB, RB, and WR positons against other top level BCS programs only to be left holding the bag as the quintessential "nice guy" come signing day. It would be nice to get some 5 star talent at these positions especially the later two as we are always on the list with these kids but cannot seal the deal. I know Hoke and Mattison are demigods around this board but the recent success of LSU, Bama, and ND(this year) cannot atone for the fact that our short comings since 2008 are as much due to a lack of a star at these offensive postions (since Braylon and Hart respectively) as it is to the failures and ineptitude of the former staff.
I guess the more pertinent question is do you think we we can continue to be elite and compete for championships with beasts on defense and the o-line but "just some glue guys" toting the rock?
as they are playing a three loss OSU team at home in the final game we would all be rocking shirts like that. Can't be mad at them for having not lost and having swag. If a remember Bo dying in 2006 did not help as get a win in Ohio. It's all about executing on the field and none of this extra motivation stuff will make a difference come 12:01.
At least we can cope with our 2012 season by saying we lost to the two teams that are going to play for the title, the team that won our conference, an undefeated team, and a one loss SEC team in the bowl game.

is that you would rather take the percentages of another 3 star overachieving and setting Michigan records at his position then an actual 5 star.

was a high school teammate of Gholston I believe. I'm sure he hates Mich as well no matter who was the coach or the recruiting priorities
our only hope is to hold them to 3
Did you not watch the game last year?
Why would you EVER run Vince Smith on 3rd and short in a key game when you are LOSING!!??
YES
IS what you would get if you could fuse Denard/Devin together a la Dragon Ball Z.
are just better than us. I mean they have 0 losses and we already have 3. Oh and Hoke sucks on the road.
Those slow white boys can't deal with those fast black boys
From last year's game in East LA would appropriate
