Zeb Jackson(#24 in gold) the longest committed player in our 2020 class is currently playing with his squad Montverde Academy on ESPN right now. Good chance for most of us to see him in action vs. a very good IMG Academy team.

Yeah - I turned channel when I saw headline only to find out he is not playing, after all. His team is awesome, though.

I saw him with his warmup off and assumed he had already gotten in, but watching the rest of the first half and all of the 2nd half I quickly realized he has held that same spot on the bench all game. I know his squad is deep, but you would think a top 60 kid would at least get some playing time.

He was a starter to begin the year. He's been benched to around the 8th man in the rotation.

His team is stacked with 5 stars and high 4 stars, and he is a rotation player around 8th in rotation. Perhaps he played some in the first half before I tuned in?

Amazing that Monteverde just blew away a team with 2 of the 3 highest ranked recruits going to Duke next year.

Zeb showed some quick reactions. At the final shot of the game, he was the first standing and ready to head to the locker room. I imagine going up against Cade Cunningham in practice every day is better than another high school experience for development, but not sure I would move that far away from home to watch an entire game from the bench.

He also showed good court awareness - sitting on a spot on the bench far enough so as to not block one of the guys playing from sitting conveniently as needed.
He showed good instincts too, seeming to play within himself and letting the game come to him.

So he’s not even playing for his team because he’s buried on the depth chart? Are people serious about this? Not starting is one thing, Jordan Poole didn’t start in high school, but not even seeing the court is another thing.

I believe Zeb will be fine...he is improving-will need to continue to ascend. On teams like this kids do and don't play for strictly "political" reasons-like, scouts are in the house to see certain players play in specific roles. If "Juwan" would have been there Zeb would have played a lot. We will see.
