Youth

So I was watching the game again tonight as I was at a wedding for the last three quarters Saturday.  I know this has been posted about 10,000 times this year but it finally sunk in watching this game.  This team is YOUNG.  I know, most of you are rolling your eyes and wondering where the heck I have been.  I have been watching the last 8 games just like you all, but it finally was clear this Sunday night.  The best part of it all is that this is not an excuse and only a reason for excitement!  The future is so dang bright.  I cannot wait!

If you read my one and only diary entry you will know that I have been a fan for 29 years of my 29 year life.  This is the most excited I have ever been for UM football.  The next 10 years and more are going to be awesome!(this off season is going to be looooooong)  I played DIII football(started on the O-line my last two years). I say this because the o-line for this team will be the fun part to watch over the next 4 years!  They are coming together quite nicely and once all these skill (the heavies will alwasy have more skill when it comes to the ladies though)players are actually able to just PLAY instead of think and play, LOOK THE F OUT!  The defense is another story.....but when we start putting 48 on people the defense will be able to relax once a game.

Who else would like to see Cissako(sp?) touch the ball about once or twice a series on offense?  He is going to be good.

I think giving the ball to Cissoko once or twice a game would be nice.  And I am looking forward to the future as well.  And I think it may be time to start working in fresh faces if we lose one more and are officially out or bowl contention.  I think we shouldn't burn a RS, but we should rotate guys like Fitzgerald on defense and others as well.

team should be really good in 2 years for how many freshman we have on offense. also boubacar on d and possibly the most overlooked freshman: mike martin. he is a beast already
