but lets let it go, Threet and Sheridan endured a season of Barwis and 3-9, they shouldn't have been thrown out there like that and I for one am grateful to them for toughing it out for us. Compare that to a certain qb that bailed on the program and couldn't fumble a snap without screaming in rage at a wide receiver.

What part of "I HONESTLY believe they did they best they could do" do you not understand? As I said, I didn't bring it up to pile on those guys. Rather, I brought it up more as a point of reference for looking to the future. Something makes me think you didn't continue to read the second paragraph of the post.

Did I say one thing there that isn't true? I asked a question. What's your deal? Glad you picked up on the underlying idea that with those two new recruits that you so adeptly picked up on that I was talking about, a large part of the problem from this year won't be repeated. Relax, Francis.

well, before you go around calling people "dickheads" I would suggest that you might want to try doing a bit better of a job trying to assess someone's intentions. In other words, you might want to check your reading comprehension. I've explained the intention of my post twice now. Obviously you either (1) don't get it or (2) don't want to get it. It's not that difficult to understand. And thanks for calling me a "dickhead". I appreciate that.

Look, we all know Sheridan is the worst QB in FBS. He has a lollipop arm and looks like an intramural QB out there. However, he's never going to play again, and it's beyond piling on at this point. Also, Threet is potentially a solid QB. He outplayed 5* Jimmah earlier this year, and also has shown flashes of skill when not being injured. So let's just give the guys a break with the criticism.

Fine. Fair enough. Clearly I must not have been clear enough in what I was saying. I wasn't criticizing these two. I think they did the best they fucking could. I couldn't be more clear about that. My point was that THERE ARE GOOD THINGS TO COME FOR THE FUTURE WHEN MICHIGAN HAS A BETTER QUARTERBACK. Since that is blatantly fucking obvious, the second associated point is that this offense, more than almost any other MUST have a quarterback that is a down the field threat; not necessarily a running threat. Apparently the two of you think that I was unduly criticizing these two. I wasn't, I haven't, and I wasn't starting here. All I was trying to point out is the misconception that this offense needs a dual threat quarterback; it doesn't. Got it?

Duke's QB today put in a strong contender for worst performance of the year. 2 for 9, 20 yards, 0 TD, 4 INT including one returned for a touchdown. That was for the whole game too - he was the only QB listed in the box score for them.
