Will FanVisions work at Big Chill?
Just curious if anyone knows if the FanVisions will be active at the Big Chill. I'm pretty sure that they are football only devices but thought I'd check to see if anyone has heard anything to the contrary.
By the way, for those of you wondering, the FanVision was awesome to use at the football games this year. The ability to instantly watch a replay from any camera angle in the stadium was very impressive.

Is it something you use while you're at the game? Or is it something you do from home over the internet or on TV?

used at the stadium. I guess you could say it's like a small TV.

They're expensive at $200, but very, very cool. You can also listen to the radio broadcast of the game through them as well as watch the TV feed of the game (as well as other ESPN family games going on during that time period).

That looks amazing. Thats like the kind of thing we'd talk about when we were younger and never expect it to show up. It would be cool to use one of those from home. If the broadcast isn't giving you the replay you want.

Thanks for checking. I had no idea who to ask at the University.

And what about the little one-ear radios that they sell at the stadium? Yes/no?

And said he didn't think Fan Vision would work. He did think the earbud radios would, but was going to check and get back to me. Hasn't yet, but I might drop him another line if he hasn't by tomorrow morning.

I'll let you know what he says about it all when he responds. I'm guessing the Fanvision thing will still not be set up :-( . But I can't see how hard the radio thing could be, so, we'll see.

No on Fanvision, yes on radios.

But what I'm looking forward to is the Japanese freeviewpoint technology (via bldgblog) that will allow you to watch the game from a player's eye perspective via 3D holographs.
