Weis' buyout "loose change" to ND alum
...heard mention of a Chicago Tribune article this AM on ESPN, link follows...
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/chi-081125-charlie-weis-no…
ESPN also mentioned:
-ND's 14 loses over the past two seasons was an all-time worst
-first defeat by 8+ loss team ever (Syracuse)
-record of 5-8 at home in past 2 seasons
bonus: Lee Corso a moron too

yeah correct use of "loose".

...he stands to "lose" some change (like $28 mil worth) - maybe he can borrow it from That Darn Wolverine

You're right, but ND also stands to "loose" a lot of coin if they fire him. LOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

...they stand to "lose" a lot if the next coaching search is as "successful" as their past two.

it's a shame he hasn't been able to "lose" more weight after his by-pass in order to make his pants more "loose".

I'm just baffled that this anti-Weis talk wasn't brought up last season when he went 2-10 in his third year after enough years of his voodoo recruiting to make a difference. Let the rich ND alumni buy out Pear Bryant, but then they're going to have to hire someone else to bring Notre Dame back to glory which was apparently bungled quite severely last time.

Charlie Weis is part of the 9/11 Truth movement?

the only thing CW has done while coaching at ND...grow a big ego. To bad his coaching record can't match his ego...I wonder if he survies after this weekend?

Only his weight can match his ego.

I disagree - the man is huge. His ego can make it through the door - I bet at times his fat ass can't!

...to wherever Weis goes (should he be fired)? I mean, ya' know, since Weis is like the greatest QB developer in the World and all. (see Brady)

I seriously doubt Weis stays in the college ranks. Unless it's like a Gerry Faust move and he's banished to Akron for the rest of his life.

I really hope they don't get rid of him yet. It would be appreciated if someone would hire Brian Kelly who can pay him enough to not be interested in Notre Dame. Tennessee is apparently focused on Lane Kiffin (and bringing Orgeron in as well, who is a very good recruiter).
Honestly, I don't get why Kiffin is such a hot target.
