Wayne Lyons' interest in UM?
I keep reading/hearing a lot about Wayne Lyons, the safety from FL. He has a 4.8 GPA(!) and seems to be a sure fire 5 star prospect. He has stated a desire to attend a school with strong academics. This is usually 'recruit-speak', however when it's a kid with a 4.8 who wants to be like Myron Rolle, I tend to put some more weight into it.
He has even mentioned Northwestern as a school on his radar. I have not read much about him and Michigan but it appears to be a match made in heaven...at least to us, right? Has he mentioned anything about his Michigan offer to any of the internets that I may have missed?

because it's just something that hasn't been discussed, or perhaps because he has publicly stated he's putting his recruiting on hold until the spring. he visited OSU and did a UF camp.

He's definitely interested, but as Geaux_Blue said, he's not focusing on recruiting right now. Probably won't hear more from him for awhile, and if you do, it won't really matter.

A nice write-up on him, its from about a month ago but that is his recruiting plan. No one will officially know who he is considering until that first cut down, but ND, Stanford, OSU and UF are at least expected to make the cut.
Lyons is an amazing kid
