WAY OT: 97.1 TicketText Banhammer?
Last week, Valenti was being exceptionally douchey and I just couldn't take listening to his double talk anymore. As he spewed his BS on the air, I fired off about 4 texts refuting some of the jibberish coming out of my speakers (armed with MGoKnowledge).
Well, something must have resonated with him because he rifled off 2 texts telling me how "(he) speaks the truth" and how I am "blind."
Since then, I have sent 2 TicketTexts but have not received the obligatory SPAM response text. I can only assume that my cell number has been added to the "blocked" list. I consider that a small victory in itself.

So many people complain about Valenti, and I agree, which is why I stopped listening years ago. Why do you people keep listening to him?

When WDFN folded, I stopped listening to Sports talk radio and just listened to music (when I wasn't on the phone doing work). But over the last 4or5 months or so, I started listening again. I'd rather listen to college football talk than nothing.....so I tune in. I literally can't stand Valenti or Caputo.....yet I can't turn the dial.

I might give it a 5 minute listen but then I turn it off because I cant stand how he and Foster think theyre right about EVERYTHING. Valenti wont admit hes an MSU homer but its so blatantly obvious. If I remember he picked the ND -4 and MSU -28 last week...whoops wrong on both.

If you were to bet equally on every game he gives, you would be up by season's end. The guy is right about 60% of the time, which is pretty good if you ask me. As for being a homer, I feel like the station is making him talk about Denard, but deep down he really doesn't want to :D

Except that he's a MSU alum and is completely open about it and on countless occasions admits his disdain for Michigan. Nothing wrong with that. What's even better is when he talks about how soft MSU is, like he has all week.
