Watch "College Football Final" at 1:00 P.M.--lavish Forcier praise
In case you didn't see the version which aired early this morning, on College Football Final today Mark May and Rece Davis lavished praise on Forcier, Davis: "Barkley has to take a backseat to another freshman, Tate Forcier." Excellent coverage of our game, which started around 8-9 minutes in, if I remember correctly. May was effusive in his praise as well.
EDIT: in another programming note, the entire game will be repeated at 9 tonight on ESPNU. I hate to sound like a shill for them, but good coverage is good coverage.

But I have to say that if nd had won all of the praise would be on Jimmah and Tate would get little praise.. But we won so he gets it all. Jimmah had a great game though

I didn't see any reaction from Lou Holtz after he said ND would be playing for the National Championship earlier in the day. Did anyone see anything from him?

I forget exactly what was said, but prior to the USC-Ohio State game, he said some real nice things about Forcier.

It is nice to see praise for him either way but I couldn't imagine what would happen if they just focused on Barkley or Jimmy after the game that Tate had. He did deserve it without a doubt
